Mid-season summary:

The Bears are a disappointment this year....
When will the Rams finally win their first game?...
The Patriots seem to be unstoppable...
The Titans getting better and better...
The Dolphins are close to their first win...
The Colts aren't impressed when the opponent team scores first...
The Panthers should sell their own stadium and only play on the road..
The Steelers' defense is top...
The 49ers started very promising, but then....
The Saints should stop using their feet when trying to achieve points...

The Dolphins have been close to winning for the last 20 years. I haven't watched them this year, but it seems like in the past they have always been inconsistant in their gameplay. They would kick butt one game and totally suck the next game. Or even from one quarter to the next they would change like it was a completely different team playing. I always liked Dan Marino and wanted to see him get a Super Bowl ring, but they just couldn't play consistantly. It looks like they've gone down hill since he was QB.

More like they could not get a WR to help out.

The Dolphins have been plagued with injuries and off field issues year in and year out.  This team is just cursed!! If they could have gotten a decent RB to help Marino during his years at Miami, they would have had a better chance.

BTW, where is the love for the Lions? I think with a 5-2 record, they should get some recognition... at a minimum, a comment how they no longer hold the key to the cellar.

But for Naught!!
As long as the Packers keep going in the pace they are going in, so does the Lions.
The Lions will most likely miss the playoffs unless they can keep pace with the Packs.

Oh & TB has it worst on injuries & they are doing ok

Not true.  As you know, of the 3 Division champions, the 2 with the best records get an automatic bye round 1 of the playoffs.  There are 4 other wildcard slots to fill, the Divison champion with the worst record of the 3, and 3 teams with the next best records. If the Lions and Packers keep at the same pace, the Packers will win the Division and the Lions will have 10+ wins which will definitely earn them a wildcard spot in the playoffs.  BTW, the Lions and Packers will face each other 2 times before the season ends... so there is opportunity for either team to gain ground or seperate themselves from the other.

It would be nice to be the lone leader this week, but I only got an 11, not a 12. So my current score should be 87.
