Ename steps forward so all can see his face. It looks like a mask, of pure, inhuman white, with no ears or nose. His eyes look like blots of ink, his mouth a wide, scary smile - also made of ink.
Without opening his mouth, and in the same double-voice he used before, Ename speaks in response to the telecast:
"Mr. Saber, we go now to do what all mutants must - if for very different reasons."
He begins walking toward a shadowed corner of a wall outside.

((Autopilot engaged. Assuming all went to check out the ruckus, those not going have to post saying so.))
By the time the group arrives there is a shimmering in the air. More figures appear. One, who seems to be the only male of the group, looks around. "Are you SURE this is the place?" He is shirtless, and you notice what looks like a black crystal in the middle of his chest. It goes height wise from between his pecks to his navel. It is perfectly square shaped (only turned on itside to be a 'diamond'. He looks at somebody who looks exactly like Stargazer. "Well Gazer? Is this the right place?"
"Yes, this is it. According to my vision, he should already be here."
A female that looks to be made of pure gold, with long pointed ears, looks around. "Well..from the looks of it, it maybe one of our new guests."
Several other females, all of which are wearing outfits similar to the ones worn by the first are with them. Varying shapes, sizes, races, but all definately female. The stranger looks around. His voice seems amplified. "The person that has the shadow abilities. If you are within the sound of my voice, step forward, we have much to discuss."
The military is not waiting, however. A tank rolls up and fires on the 'invaders'. It knocks the man with the crystal back, and puts a large hole where he lands. The figure stands again, dusts himself off. "I think you broke a nail. I'm not in the mood to deal with you. Goldy, demonstrate why attacking me is a BAD IDEA."
The golden woman moves faster then even Varjo or Rev can keep up with. She flips in the air, and lands on the tank. The whole tank turns to gold as soon as she lands on it, becoming a valuable but useless statue. She opens the hatch easily however. "Unless you want to be a statue like your tank, I would get out and leave...NOW."
The people inside do so, looking like they may have soiled themselves.

Problem Child opened his eyes. He was napping in a small shady park he created for himself. It took him a month to get an official O.K. on setting up a park, one day to clear the place for it and one second to wait while Rose raised it up. Now he was lying in the shade of a beautiful tree surrounded by the serene green of grass and small bushes. Besides him layed a small wooden box with remains of hush joints in it, smoked both by him and by occasional visitors. For the first time in a while he was feeling happy, and even started to forget about his dreams to get back to his own time. Alas, nothing lasts forever, especially not the good times. And so, Problem Child opened his eyes and listened to the noise not far from him.
"That sounded like tank fire.", he thought to himself and looked to the sky. "At least I don't see any spaceships this time. Why can't people just live in peace is beyond me. Anyway, whatever it is, I better go sort it out so I can get back to sleeping... or smoking, I haven't decided yet... it would probably depend on my mood when I come back."
Problem Child stood up, cleaned himself of the grass, put on his leathr jacket, checked that his mic is still in his inner pocket and set out to find the origin of that annoying noise... right after he emptied his small wooden box into a nearby trash bin, that is.

Problem Child arrives too late to see the elves accrobatics, but not to hear the person calling for somebody who has the power of the shadows.

Ename walks into the shadowed wall and is instantly teleported through the shadow portal to the city square, where he sees the gold tank and the people who, presumably, turned it into gold.
He arrives just in time to hear the man's announcement. He steps forward into the light of day silently.

The man looks at Ename, then to the twin of Stargazer. "This him?"
The woman looks at Ename and nods. "Yes Master. He is the one."
"I guess these others are with him?" he looks around to those of the group who have assembled. Stargazer just nods. He looks at you one by one. "Tell you what, call off the toy soldiers before they get broke, and we can talk. Really not here to cause any trouble. Is there somewhere less..public we can talk?"

Problem Child blinked a few times. Did he just this right? Finally, someone actually proposes to talk instead of blowing things up! At last a chance for a civillized conversation instead of brutal exchange of blows! This had not happened to him in a while, certainly not since he came to this time. He was not going to let that opportunity get away from him.
"Forget the little militarists, my friend, they won't cause any trouble. Look, one glimpse at that golden abomination over there, and they all start shaking like leaves on autumn trees. Come, there is this little paradise just around the corner - a natural park, trees, green grass, clean air... well, relatively clean. It's always quiet and even though it's open for everyone, for some odd reason, no one ever comes to visit, I should know - I spent the last month in that heavenly place. So, what do you say? Should go and have a little talk? I can bring some food and smokes..."

The man looks at his Stargazer. "Yes Diamondback, that would be a good spot. I believe the stranger is correct, with Goldy's ... demonstration, I doubt anybody will make trouble for a bit."
The man nods. "Ok." He turns to the others in his group. "You know what to do girls. Make it happen."
The all kneel to him then stand up and pick up the 'poles'. You notice that as they walk, they maintain the 'circle' around all of them. It is an odd sight. As you go, you notice the circle gets a bit bigger, but more crowded. There must be hundreds of people in the circle by the time you get to the park. All female besides this 'Diamondback', and all wearing the odd slave like outfits.
When you get to the park, the ones that came through first surround the whole park. The one called Diamondback motions, and quite a few of the girls get Problem Childs food, drink (etc) and start laying it out for everybody.
"Ok, lets get down to business, we can't stay here for long. This dimension is constantly trying to oust us back to ours. Only this circle prevents it from doing so. Now, we came with a bit of information, and..some help. First the information. Red? Want to take it from here?"
A female (one that appeared along the way) comes forward. She has long flowing red hair, and unlike most of the others is wearing a business suit. "First, according to our Stargazer, you are running out of time. The person going around calling himself Lucifer only needs 2 last items to take this universe into a living nightmare which it will never wake from. One is a seal, which can only be found in the realm of Shadows. That is where your shadow weilder comes in. With Diamonds help, he will be able to transport one group to it."
Diamondback chuckles. "Now the fun part. I love this part. No offense, but got a huge kick out of the irony."
Red looks at him oddly and shakes her head. "The second part is a key. There is good news and bad news about this. The good news is it will be easy to find. The bad news is...it is one of you."
Stargazer points to Problem Child. "You."
Red nods. "Appranently somehow or someway you are a key. He gets his hands on you, he will have the 2nd part. We are not sure what that means exactly, but it won't be good for you." she tells Problem Child.
Diamondback grins, and it is a rather..evil grin. "Now, my part. The shadow guy..I got a gift for you." He reaches down to his stomach and breaks the tiniest peice of the diamond inside him off. "With this, you will be able to open a door for everybody to the realm of shadow. Only you can use it, so be careful. Something happens to you, its game over."

Diamond chuckles. "Now you may already know this, but what you may not know is that he will have the seal in under 2 days. If you don't get the seal and keep it from him NOW, you won't be able to. Then it will come down to just him getting ahold of the key. Since we don't exactly know HOW he is going to do that it will be hard to stop."
Red continues "There IS some good news. He isn't the real deal, just somebody who thinks he is. The bad news is it doesn't matter. He has ALL the abilities, just a tad weaker. Which is good, trust me. Also means he doesn't have fate or the Angels on his side, but they won't interfear because he IS mortal."
"As you know he is not alone now either. Strongarm's still out there, though his technology was his greatest weapon and that was destroyed. There are the 4 horsemen, also fake but also just as dangerous. Word of warning..don't let ANY of them touch you." notes Stargazer.

"Yes. It is in a santified place, and he will have to defile it before he can get to it. Will take him 48 hours. You and your group can just waltz on in." Answers Stargazer. "What concerns me is that your Stargazer hasn't already told you this."

"Then I suggest that you brief us on the situation down there and we get what equipment we need and get going. As what comes to Stargazer I don't know. Last time I saw her was when we got shot by Strongarms cannon. You would be better off asking that from Mr. Saber back there.", Varjo says and points to John Saber.

Diamondback nods. "Ok, we know only a few things, and can guess a few more. Most likely Strongarm, Lucy, and at least Death and Disease are there. They know their time is limited to get the seal, and they can take their time on getting the key. So might want to expect all of them. However, they could fool you, and if you send everybody..then he," points to problem child, "will be vulnerable. Do NOT take him to the shadow realm, however. They are too powerful there. Do NOT fight them if at all possible. Slow them down, confuse them, whatever, but do not get in a showdown. You WILL loose. Bring the seal OUT of the shadow realm as fast as possible."
Red continues. "Take it to a holy place after it is out of the shadow realm. I suggest you take things that can slow down, hamper, or hurt demons. Holy water, garlic, crosses, anything, to the shadow realm with you. Then you will only have to worry about Strongarm. Your fastest should get the item, and the rest fend off any attacks once out of the santified area."

"...teleports Ename, Shyft and some of us to the seal staying here himself. Since you said we can just get in directly there should be no problems with it. They grab it, Ename shifts to this world, shyft hides it in some god-is-good place or, if allowed, get's it somewhere where it can be destroyed. No need to go anywhere else but the sanctified area means no need to fase those guys. Neat, clean and efficient.", Varjo waits for a little while for his idea to sink in.
"So what kind of defenders do we expect?"

"Wish it was that easy. Unfortunately getting in is going to be a lot harder then out. And only person who can even get you in is the one who wields shadows. You can telport in, but only way out is to find a shadow door. The shadow weilder will know where one is once there, but you will have to WALK there. As for destroying the seal, it can not be done. However, it will be good bait. He will come for the seal, and eventually get past the santified area. That is where the boy comes in. Only he and the sword can stop the pretender for good." answers Diamondback.
Red sighs. "No place would keep it safe for long, and as Diamond said it can not be destroyed. You will all have to find a way to protect the boy until the show down. Once the seal and key are out of reach he will send his minions after the boy."

When Ename is offered the diamond piece, a tendril of shadow reaches out to grab it for him - he does not raise his arm.
Since recieving the diamond piece, Ename has been staring at obsessively. A change has come over his facial features - it seems as if the inkblot portion of his face now covers more of it, and he looks more malevolent. He somehow doesn't look like the same person. He doesn't really pay attention to anything around him.

"Come on, now. Nothing is as bad as it seems. Look, I just found out that I'm a key. Now I've been a lot of things in my life... actually a lot*3 things, but a key?! And if that's not enough, I'm targeted by some Satan wannabe. But you don't see me whining and feeling sorry for myself, I'm try to see the good side - heck, maybe I'll have the chance to ride the highway to hell! Anyway, cheer up, I can't go to that shadowy place either, so I'm sure we'll find something fun to do here."
