I would much rather they come out with an awesome, stupendous game that doesn't get rushed. I'm content to enjoy Tribes for a few years.

I kinda agree here. the joint forum project is more of something to take inspiration and ideas from. It doesnt really have the guidance neccasary for a succesful whole game rather then just a part.

It took 3 years betwen heroes 4 Winds of war, and Heroes 5. Statisticly Heroes 6 should be out 2010. But it took time because they haven`t begin to work on Heros 5 so fast. Then it may be out winter 2008.

I don't mind if HVI takes another 3 or 4 years... ideally, of course, it'd be nice to have it by the end of the next year, but that seems a little unrealistic.
I just hope they don't release info soon, and then leave us an uncertain release date. Ugh, Disciples III... I've known about that game for, what, 2 years now? No new info has been released in a while, and I'm still not sure when it's going to be released!
I do hope they re-introduce the might and magic heroes for each faction. I'd like to see how Dungeon would play with a might hero, or Sylvan with a magic hero.
But there are three things that I really want, however trivial they may be. 1) Generic Female hero models please! 2) This may be a longshot, but bring back the Sorceress! LOL! She was one of the original hero types back when 3DO was still alive. We need a female centered "good" faction. 3) Please, no more provocatively-looking female units. Fine, it's nice to see some, but don't make all the female units look like they're ready to get naked!

I think the syvlan hunters are female. Not sure though.
Banshees are female. And in Tote the necromancers wetent evil. But i guess the banshees themselves arent that provocative.

Actually the only reason it took 3 years for heroes 5 is that 3DO went bankrupt and somebody (ubisoft) bought them and started making heroes 5

The ones that were commented as casting mass erection on the whole forum?  Seriously though if dark elves had a more 'decent' type of dress it would look more plausible. Btw no female elves in the sylvan line up, wonder what Nival would have done about them

Pixies traditionally aren't elves but as creatures of the forest they fit with them.

I really want to see them with the swamp town again but hopefully this time around making them more on par with the other towns. I miss the mighty gorgon and what not. But at the same time as much as I loved the creatures of the swamp I personally felt they made them pretty much the weakest of all the other towns, which isn't all that balanced. So hopefully they balance it out. Also I really want to see the phoenix back in a town but probably with better abilities. Today as I played as the swamp/fortress I realized it was weak or maybe I just am bad at the game I think I might be the only one who likes the fortress
I also wanna see the benemoth again
And of course new creatures and new towns/factions. and I probably want to see the return of some more I just can't think of it right on the top of my head but it would be nice to see new creatures as well.

This will preferably be started on early so that a lot of work gets done by mid 2009- Thats when i think the beta will start, If it looks poor i expect the beta will drag on to 2010 . Most info should be out by christmas 2008.
