Story of my life.
searching for the right,
but it keeps avoiding me.

I am, in the end, a child of Shallassa's waters.  I am, in the end, the most powerful of the nine great races in single combat.  I am, in the end, a Naga.

There's sorrow in my soul,
'Cause it seems that wrong,
really loves my company.

I have sinned, I have lied, I have cheated.  I have had far too many lovers, including and in alphabetical order-

She's more than a queen,
and it goes beyond faith,
Goddess of the endless blue,

For thirty years of my life, I was a preistess of Shallassa, Goddess of the Sea.  Healing, flowing, seeing, knowing, all these powers and more were at my twenty fingertips.

The Clouds are rolling in,
And now it begins,
hear now the things I do.

But there is more to the story.  My story is, and always will be, entwined with the fate of the Jade Sea, Shallassa, and the future.

I know she knows I'm unfaithul,
and it feels so odd,
to know she knows I'm happy with some other god.
I can smell her crying.

After the Quite Great War with the Rakshassa, so many of our preists and prophets died, and we had to rush to fill in the cracks.  I was chosen to be the high preistess of Shallassa.  I was chosen to comand the entire faith and worship of the Sea.

I don't wanna be the one who saves
I don't wanna be the reason why
Everytime I leave the waves
I feel them die a little more inside.

The night before my ceremony, a vision came to me.  I saw the future laid out before me.  I saw the rise of the demons, the ressurection of Arantir, and the return of the Sea Elves.  At first I thought it was a message sent my Shallassa, but then, in the end, I saw Torkath, her son.  And his power was in me and through me, and the control of storms was mine.  But it was a gift and a curse, as I no longer drew my energy from the waves...

I don't wanna hurt her anymore
I don't wanna take away her life
I don't wanna be...
A murderer

I attended the Ceremony as I was supposed to, said the words, went through the motions, but I was lying, and the words felt bitter on my tongue.  I secretly used my power to make people leave the congratulations early, so I could get some peace.

I control the air,
ripping my hair,
Make another cloudy day,

I've been leading ceremonies falsely for two years now.  And it hurts so much to lie to so many people.  I can't help breaking down and causing lighting storms to frighten everyone as our cities fly through the clouds.  I can't help it, it feels so much easier when others are afraid too, if for diffrent reasons.

A wave catches my cheek,
I hear Shallassa speak,
She says "Where have you been of late?"

Her message startles me.  I don't know how to answer, I don't know what to say or how to feel.  Its terrifying.  I bow in submission, expecting her to unleash her wrath on me, but instead her image fades away, sadly.

I know that I've done wrong,
Seperate from the world,
With all the lies I have to tell.

Another year passes.  Peace negotiations with the Humans are going badly, the polution of our waters grows worse, and with the Tuna schools migrating farther away each winter, I fear my people will begin to starve.  If only I actually had the power over the sea, I could call the schools back!

Because I can't fight the foe,
I feel like we're gonna go
down into the pits of Hell.

As a whole village is wiped out because there is simply not enough food to feed them, I chose to lead the capital city in prayer.  But as I raise my hand in a symbolic gesture to make the waves arch over me, instead lightning coarses over my head, and all are shocked.

I know she knows I'm unfaithul,
and it feels so odd,
to know she knows I'm happy with some other god.
I can smell her crying.

I am able to pass it off as mistake in setting up the magics, but the lesser preistesses are wary, and everywhere I go I hear mutterings that end as I look at the speaker.

I don't wanna be the one who saves
I don't wanna be the reason why
Everytime I leave the waves
I feel them die a little more inside.

Now in practice it seems I cannot even make water in a goblet ripple.  Why do I not just step down, I wonder?  Because that would mean admiting that I worship another diety, I anwser.

I don't wanna hurt her anymore
I don't wanna take away her life
I don't wanna be...
A murderer

I feel like my own life is slipping away from me.  I'm torn between duty to my people, and the great power within me.  Great power, ha!  Not enough power to ripple a goblet.  I pick it up and throw it against the wall.  This does not achieve anything.

Lost love.  Lost trust.
I might as well take a crossbow and put it to my head
Get it over with
I don't wanna do this
Anymore

I pick up a crossbow, and arm it.  There is no time for ceremonies, no time for choice words.  I am afraid of loosing my nerve, and at the same time afraid of what I must do.  I point the crossbow's bolt right at my chin...

I won't let you do this anymore
I don't wanna be the reason why
Everytime I look up at the shore
I see you die a little more inside
I can't let you hurt anymore
I can't let you take your own life
I don't wanna be...
A murderer

The waters rush around me.  I see her, looking at me with her eyes glowing like moonlight on a rippling sea.  The crossbow melts in my hands, and I see the connection.  My storms had come from a place of fear and fury, thinking that storms were for destruction alone.  But they're not.  Storms wash things clean.  Rain helps things to grow.  Lightning helps the lost to see.  This is my true calling.  And I feel her power surging through me, not washing out Torkath's might, but mingling with it.  I smile, at peace, as the waters wash away.  I open my eyes to a brand new dawn.

This has been a spoof of Unfaithful, by Rihanna.

For years I wondered, lost.  No, I knew where I was, but I was still lost.  Heart ache, loneliness, and...anger.  How dare they, they came into our home.  They ripped away my children, slew my mate, and fled like the cowards they were.  Rotting, stinking, and corrupt.  Cowards they are.  They can't stand the light of day, nor my wrath.  So they hide in their tombs and under the ground.

I hunt, I hunt them to the last.  Every bone I crunch, every piece of flesh I broil bringing me ever closer to the true cause of my misery.  Fire burns inside me, a hatred unlike any that I have known before. My muscles ripple with unbridled passion, wanting to rend and tear at their withered black hearts.  Patience, I am told.  Every day they bring forth more of their puppets, and I am told patience.  Why should I wait?   Let me feast on their dead flesh, let me burn their crypts to ashes!

Even yet those that council patience are making headway.  Gathering spells of light to lay waste to the vast number they have gathered.  Others attack from different directions, even they can not keep their numbers up.  It will take all of us they say, but am I not mighty?  Does not the mear mention of my name send trembles through most of even my allies?

It is time, they say.  Finally!  They have gathered enough allies to turn the tides of war.  I am to get into formation.  We will strike as one, bringing low the foul necromancers.  Bringing justice for my family!

Our allies are strange.  Even the black dragons and red have joined us, for they do not want to be brought back from beyond to serve the Necromancers.  Angels, and huge one eyed creatures.  If this was another day, I would rend the black and red dragons apart, but if they seek to destroy Necromancers I guess they can't be all bad.

To battle!  The ground rushes away and we are off.  The wind feels magnificent.  Cooling against the heat gathering in my chest.  Flying is so freeing.  For just a moment I loose myself in the joy of the flight, but only for a moment.  "Megreth" comes the voice in my head.  "Slow down, the others can not keep up.  We know you are in a hurry to destroy those who harmed your family.  We are with you, and will help you to rid this world of all of them."

I am not the only one who had lost family.  Almost all had, in one form or another.  Some would even fight the reanimated corpses of the ones they loved.  Patience, I thought.  Yes, I must have patience.  Soon the undead ones would pay.  Even they can not raise ashes, and I would turn all of them to ash.

The sun glinted off my crystaline wings.  Reaching the castle of the souless just as dawn arrived in the sky.  As one me and my kin dived, linked by our minds, with only one thing in mind.  To burn.  To cleanse this land of the foulness and corruption of the Necromancers.  The hatred I had felt before was a shallow hate compaired to what I felt this close to my families murderers.  For justice, for Ke'lia, Kenan, and for little Ma'rise!

They too had dragons, or pale imitations of us.  Risen from the bones of the dragons they had slain.  They sent these pretenders to attack us, foolish.  Though they outnumbered us 4 to one, each of us were worth 10 of them.  They kept us busy, for awhile, but they could not withstand our might for long.  Only a few were left, and I would rend them from the sky!

I closed with one, all shadow and bone.  This one was a bit more powerful then the others, whichever dragon it had sprang from must have been mighty indeed.  We raked and we clawed, we swooped and we spun.  It could not be injured like I, though I tore parts from it it felt no pain.  When it landed a blow, I weakened however.  I was exhusted from the fighting, and heartsore.  No, I can not give in.  My job was not done, not by far.

Below the battle was going well, but another group of undead was rising from behind my allies.  Since they were utterly silent, they would not be found out until they had cause great damage to my friends.

Looking at the undead dragon, a planned formed in my mind.  Others cried out to me to try to stop me, but I closed them out.  They began to rally and rush to my aid, but my decision had been made.  Better I die and give the troops on the ground a warning, then so many die for the necromancers to raise fresh.

I grappled with the foul abomination, and started plunging us to the ground.  Looking in it's eyes, there was ... something familiar about them.  Ke'Lia!  Those accursed Necromancers had forced the remains of my own mate up to fight us!

We plunged through the sky, neither willing or able to break the death plunge.  Right before we made our impact on the ground, and the undead troops there, a hint of recognition flashed in her eyes.  Then a look of peace.  As we hit, I knew she had forgiven me.  I knew that the warriors would be aware of the undead behind them, and be victorious.  I knew the Necromancers would be wiped off of the face of the planet.  And I knew that I would be with Ke'Lia again, in the next life....

Great story Mytical! The way you describe the sensation of flying, the sweet tase of revenge, the anger and the sorrow he feels is the one of a novelist. And the ideea of dying for your purpose, for your goal, to end a existence that was to much filled by grief is impressive. This story was the best of all. I know that is not a contest but I dad to say it.
 When next story?

I think so far all the stories have been interesting.  Most of my stories are tragedies.  Alot of them end with the 'hero' sacrificing themselves for something or other.  The last one was a bit inspired by the movie Eragon though.  For some reason most don't seem to like the movie, but I thought it one of the best I had seen for quite some time.

It was night. We were sitting around a good fire in the middle of a thick dark forest somewere in the Sylvan teritory. Around this fire were all kind of warriors, who gathered together to pass the night in a more enjoyable way. There was such a peacefuly atmosphere, surrounded by friends, and with the ancient treants watching us we had the feeling that nothing bad could ever happend. So, after a big boar was roasting in the fire, the dwarfs lighted their pipes, and the various bottles of booze started to pass from hand to hand, the stories begun to flow. /
First started an old Rune keeper. He puted his his staff aside, took a good drink of the bottle that a Master Hunter gave him, and started his story. "It was 40 years ago, I was a young boy at that time and it was the first time I was commandig a small comando of warriors. My task was to purge a village of the demon taint. There were some few demons who made the life of those poor people a living hell. I reached the village in the morning and charged the scum without warning. I rushed my brave warriors in the middle of the infernal swarm eager to finish them faster. I didn not know that these bastards have a horrifing ability, they can summon on the battlefield other demons to fight at their side. So when I was allmost sure that I won the battle the earth itself cracked and hordes of demons emerged from their firey lair and charged my troops. These new troops shifted the balance of the fight in their favour and we were vastly outnumbered.
You know... they say demons never take prisoniers... they slay them all. But it is not true. They do. And there is NOTHING worst in this world than to bee taken prisonier by them. All my warriors and me ofcourse were taken prisoners by the demonis scum. You know, these beasts do not sleep, they don't eat or drink and worst of them all they do not understand that we need to do these things. At the time we arrived at the gates of their teritory we were exhausted. Then we had 2 days when we could sleep and we recived food. Lots of food. But that state of good didn't last long, in the evening at the second day we were send to the slave market. They fed us and let us sleep to get a better price when they sold us. We were bought by a Demon Lord who needed slaves for his sulfur mines. And we started a long journey to the mines. If you never were into the demons lands I must tell you that there is never day, only a night lighted by the magma geysers and magma pools that glow red into the dark night. The heat and smell are unbearble. And the mines are a nightmare. Worst of them all. We recieved very little food and wather and they let us sleep only when we collapsed exhausted. I do not know how much this torment lasted because you cannot mesure time in the demons lair, is a eternal night, ant they do not care about time because they are immortals.
But at the time I was working and wondering if it wouldn't be better if I would jump at a demon guard triyng to kill him and be killed myself by the demons to end my miserable existence, I heard nois and mighty battle cryes that if I was not wrong belonged to Haven warriors. It was unbelivable, Humans here?! We all started to yell and make noise and after a short time a Champion appeared at the entrance of our cave. We rushed out as fast as we could an joined the troops of Haven. That is how we managed to escape from the demon dominion and fron slavery. At the surface these brave warriors escorted us to our town. Our joy was colossal, we were greeted by our family, our friends, and the brave warriors thet set us free recieved from our king a well deserved recompense.
This would be my story dear companions", the Rune Keeper said. I would like to hear your stories now. Don't be shy, we have lots of time to listen all your storyes.
Then I will start my story now, and I hope it will bee at least half interesting as my friend's was said a Druid elder...

I'll look forward to it!

Here's one from me: NOTE: It gets a bit risque near the end, reader disgression is advised.

KEY TERMS:
Hellmouth = A crack in the earth leading from Ashan to Shegogh.
Dragga = Elf for 'Man'
Drappa = Elf for 'Woman'
Adamantine Rope = Hell Steel Chain

Times have changed,
And we've often rewound the clock,

since the Dragon Knights got a shock,
when a hellmouth opened in the Rock.

Let me tell you a story, a story like any other.  Valiant Knights, Horrible Demons, powerful magic and the greater powers of wisdom, faith, and courage.  Heart break, heart ache, true love and true pain.  Nothing you haven't seen before.  But to me this story is important.  This is my story.

I was a trainee Dragon Knight, 29 years old.  I'd been drafed with the rest of my village after the Order saved us all from a group of demons.  But since we couldn't leave, we joined the fight.

I trained with sword, prefering the crafty rapier to the bulky flamberge.  When I was 19 I started learning about magic, and split my time between sword and spell.

And this is what I was doing that day when, in a rush of fire, the rock of our mountain sanctuary split open, and Demons burst from beneath.

But today,
Any shock they should try to stem,

I had been training with lightning magic, along with the other mystical education students in the Elf division.  Pretty Allissa, with her green eyes and black hair.  Borm, who had been a farm boy in our village, well known for his love of animals.  Aldebran, the stargazer, a thoughtful individual.  And our teacher, of course, Master Valadika who had once been a Dark Elf before he turned to serve the Knights.

instead of opening in the rock,
The Hellmouth would open in them.

As we saw the first cerebi, we rushed into battle formation.  I stood to the far left, calling a thunderbolt.  I felt Aldebran channeling his power into us, letting our magiks function as a single entity.  The energy was growin, I could feel the might of Torkath vibrating inside of me, and then, with a snap, the connection was broken.

I turned and watched, appalled, as Master Valadrika pulled his sword out to Aldebran's back.

"Send a message to my ancestors: Yours had no right to drive them out."

In olden days a glimpse of stocking
Was looked on as something shocking,
But now, Gods know,
Anything Goes.

Instictively I sent a Ripple to knock him backwards, but he reflected it and we all went flying.  Allissa was struggling to cover herself up as her dress became snagged on a rock, revealing long, slender legs.  With a look of hunger Master Valadrika moved towards her, holding her down with a pinning spell.

Disgusted at his perversion I leapt up and attacked him, running at him with my sword.  He stopped, and Allissa managed to rise to her feet.

Good authors too who once knew better words,
Now only use four letter words
Writing prose,
Anything Goes.

"Bastard!" I shouted, and our swords clashed.  With a lazy look he pushed me backwards with magic.  I found myself lying next to poor Aldebran's body.  I looked for a moment at it in sorrow, then pushed away as it started to move.

The world has gone mad today
And good's bad today,
And magic's might today,
And dark's light today,
When most elves today
That sprites prize today
Are just sittin' alone.

I watched in horror as Aldebran lumbered to his feet.  As his sightless eyes took in his sorroundings I scooted backwards.  How could this happen? I wondered with dismay.  Valadrika, a servant of the Demons and a Necromancer?  I couln't belive it.

"Amusing spell, isn't it?"  Valadrika said.  His deep, Challian accent which he had once supressed was now flowing out of him.  He must have been planning this from the begining, I thought.

And though I'm not a necromancer
I know that I'm bound to answer
If the dead rose,
Anything goes

"No," I said. "Not amused at all."

With a grim expression I beheaded the stargazer.  I've read that I was supposed to feel remorse, but at this point I felt nothing but bloodlust.

When a dark elf, whose age is eighty,
Is violating the Sanctuary, then Sylanna knows,
Anything Goes.

"You came in here and destroyed everyithing?" I asked of him.  Normally I would have charged him again, performing a Cancelation as I went, but I wanted to keep him talking.  Allissa had regained her composure.  "Why?  Why serve demons and learn necromancy?"

"Because I can see which way the wind is blowing.  The Demons will destroy us if we do not ally with them.  You can join us if you'd like."

As he said it, I saw in horror a tower of the citadel collapsing, wreathed in flames.

When lovers stab your ex-master
Because they decide it'd be faster, then heaven knows,
Anything Goes.

"The armies of the demons are infinate and powerful.  There is nothing we cannot do," Valadrkia monolgued.  And then...

"Oh yeah?"  Allissa asked, slicing into his neck. "Nod." His last look was one of shock and disbelief as his head rolled down the slope towards me, comming to rest near my feet.

If saying your prayers you like,
If loving pairs you like
If haughty airs you like,

I knealed down and looked at his head.  Despite his crimes, and the bloodlust inside me, he had been a good teacher.  I would have closed his eyes, but Allissa ran up to me and kissed me.  All the excess bloodlust channeld into passion and releif, and a bit of fear too.  But for the moment we had eachother, that was all we needed.

If back stairs you like,
If love affairs you like
With young bears you like,
Why nobody will oppose!

As we pulled away I saw some of the outer stairs of the citadel falling.  The huge demon army was still pooring out of the hellmouth.  Borm lumbered back to us.  In his fear he had turned into a bear, but now he stook on his hind legs and changed back.  We looked around.  We were trapped.  Our fort in the city was yet to be seiged by the demons, but there was no way out.  Armies of Sheogh surrounded the building, masses of burning bodies flooding the streets.

There were meteors raining down on us, and with a sense of desperation the three of us ran off the Fort's roof and into the inner chambers.

The world has gone mad today
And good's bad today,
And magic's might today,
And dark's light today,
When most elves today
That sprites prize today
Are just sittin' alone.

Borm was grabbing weapons.  We met several other classes, all with paniked looks on their faces.  There was a sudden booming sound, and we knew the demons had brought forth their battering rams to the gates.  I sat on the window ledge overlooking said gates and watched as archers on the portculis tried to fell the demons, but to no avail.

Everyone was leaving, taking swords, staves, crossbows, morning stars, rushing to join the battle.  I started to follow when I realized Allissa had not joined in.  She was sitting there, staring blankly into an alternate universe that seemed to exist right over my left shoulder.

And though I'm not a necromancer
I know that I'm bound to answer
If the demons rose,
Anything goes

"Allissa?" I asked, not sure what to do.

"I killed him," she said.  "It just hit me.  I killed him and I don't feel sorry.  I don't feel...anything.  Just this bloodlust.  I'm an Elf, I shouldn't feel this way!" She finished on a shout, glaring at me as if it was my fault.  Then she dropped her gaze and I could see teardrops trickling down her cheeks.

I sat down on the bed and held her silently, rocking her in my arms, whispering sweet nothings into her ears.  The booming sound was growing louder.

If old hymns you like,
If bare limbs you like,
If my chest you like
Or me undressed you like,
Why, nobody will oppose!

I muttered words from a hymn we had sung together in Irollan, words of hope for this life and the next.  But we both knew we were going to die.  The incessant booming was telling us so.  She turned to me and we kissed, as if that would make everything better.  It didn't, so we had to try something else.

Her hands were scrabbling at my shirt tails, mine at the buttons on her dress.  Our fear and bloodlust and the death bearing down at us were all channeled into the truest passion dragga and drappa can know.

As fire surged around the building, banging went on below at the gates and in that private little room all alone.

At fall of night,
The with rescuers coming
In private momments of our loving in fear of foes,
Anything Goes.

An enormous Elder Dragon burst into the room, taking the roof with her.  She extended her claw, taking no heed for what we were doing.  Others were on her back, and a few giggled despite the attack.  There was even a wolf whistle.  We pulled on a shirt and trousers each, and grabbed her claw.  She pulled us up and we were off, flying away as the last sanctuary of the Dragon Knights fell.

And though I'm not a great romancer
And though I'm not a great romancer

I didn't know what to say to her, and we just stared at eachother in an embarresed silence.  We were sitting in a lower saddle, just infront of the wings.

And then things went wrong.  An Avenger had winged its way up to us under the cover of invisiblity, dragging an Adamantine Rope.  Before we knew what was happening, the Avenger had sliced her Claws into the Dragon in a place she couldn't reach with flame or claws.  The Rope was pulling on us, dragging us down into the pits.  No one could hit the Avenger without risking hurting our ride.  No one dared arm a crossbow or summon magic.  I muttered that prayer again.

But Allissa had found an answer.  She looked at me, and I stopped muttering as she kissed me.  "Tieru..." she said, with tears in her eyes again.  "...I love you."

I knew what she was going to do in that moment, and tried to hold onto her, but she pushed away.  Grabbing a leather strap of the Dragon's Saddle she swung down to where the Avenger was latched on.  There was a shreik and a scream, and we were free.  The Dragon pumped her wings and took off.

"ALLISSA!"  I shouted.  I stood up and climbed to the other side of the sadle.  There she was, Allissa the beautiful, pulling down on the avenger as they fell to the ground.  Then the Dragon turned sharply and I lost sight of her.  All I could see was smoke rising from the last of the Sanctuaries.

That's how the Dragon Knights fell, and the end of that story.  I spent the rest of my life trying to stop demons however I could.  Whenever I meet someone who has a bold plan to push back the scum, I am the first to raise my sword and join the battle.

For My People.

For Ashan.

For Allissa.

I know that I'm bound to answer
When you propose,
Anything goes...

I couldn't find any inspiration for the harmony town competetion, so I just sat down and wrote something. It's a short little story about a swordsman.
Oh, and there's a tribute to the movie "Azumi" in there.

Dawn had just arrived, and the only darkness that lingered was that of the trees’ shadows. The light sneaked through the leaves and illuminated the road on which Evelan walked. A small breeze chased his back as he walked closer to the village. He was already aware of the group of scouts that followed him, but figured that this day was far too beautiful to spray with blood, although he still kept his right hand’s fingers clinched around the white Silksword attached to his belt. Their movements were quick but not smooth enough to escape Evelan’s eyes; he counted them to be at least 5, dressed in black robes and heavily armed. As he reached the village’s gates a voice emerged from the road behind him, telling him to stop.
“Another challenger I guess? My arms are tired from defeating all those excuses for warriors…” He turned around and faced the human soldiers that had followed him, his predictions had been right; there were 5 of them, with the Griffin Empire’s symbols on their chests and shoulders. A man who seemed to be their leader was the first to break the silence.
“This village is under our protection, we’ll not let you pass.”
“Is that so? I was just looking for a place to sleep but if you want to fight, be my guest…” Evelan stood motionless before them. He smiled behind his long, blonde hair, these men were already horrified. He reached for his sword and unsheathed it slowly, caressing the blade with his fingertips.
“Do you know why this blade lacks a guard?” The soldiers answered his question with raising their weapons higher; they knew this man well enough to respect him, this only made Evelan’s smile wider.
“It’s because I’ve never had to parry a strike in my whole life…” Suddenly he was behind them; the first soldier was cut in half before having a chance to react, and in the same time as the soldiers acknowledged his position, he was gone again. Their fellow soldier died in seconds, the blade had cut him apart by the stomach, and the blood loss had been severe. The remaining soldiers formed a circle with their weapons ready. The leader was furious:
“Where the hell are you?! Show yourself coward!”
“Coward? Ever heard of tactics?” He was there again, his words sounded as though he was inches from them, and he was. Evelan stood in the middle of their circle with his blade sheathed. A soldier carelessly reacted by swinging his sword at him, Evelan simply dodged and the soldier’s blade passed into the leader’s head. The second attack came from Evelan, who sliced their feet off in the same movement as he drew his blade. The 3 survivors fell to the ground and screamed in pain, holding their stumps to stop the blood flow.
“Tell me, do you feel like you’ve learned something today?” He reached inside his clothing and pulled out a white blanket, which he used to wipe the blood from his sword with. The soldiers just kept screaming and crawled as far away from him as possible.
“Oh, still not very talkative are we? I’ll spell out your mistakes then, and in the same time explain why you three are still alive. Your first mistake was maybe not yours, but the stupid, merciless kingdom you work for, sending five soldiers to face me and all of you are this inexperienced?” He sheathed his sword and sat down on the ground, before pulling an apple out which he began to eat. He continued to talk with his mouth full of fruit.
“Two, a direct melee assault is never the answer, but then again, most of you humans rely on pure power… Anyway, if you three manage to get help before dying, you may consider it a victory. At least you’ve learned something, think positive!” The three soldiers had already crawled out of earshot, but Evelan had continued talking.
“By Shalassa, teaching is hard…”
