Azure Dragons.
In one battle, my 15 Black Dragons didn't make an Azure Dragon perish with their first attack, I mean, give me a fudging break!

Ahh, yes, the mighty gorgons... One reason I won't say "no" to Fortress, in spite of all my scorn for it in general.

Harpy Hags for me too 
When you see "lots" on the map day 1 you just think "wtf why canīt it be any other L2...".
And when i have them myself it is annoying to spend a building day upgrading them week 1, they canīt do what marksmen could...

Harpy hags for me too. Losing troops to a lowly tier 2 with no ranged attack (ok they are effectively ranged) is quite annoying, and when I dungeon I don't really use them, my early-mid lineup is trogs, ranged and minotaurs.

I think Goblins are the most annoying because they're enemies of the best creatures in the game, Gnolls  .
EDIT, I am very happy to hear, that many of you think that the fortress creatures are the most annoying  .

What's so annoying in peasants?
Every single other creature can kill the Peasants,
and if you play with Necropolis, use Skeleton Transformer to transform the Peasants to Skeletons .

Dragon flys
Well my worst is dragonflys they always kill my archers and i hate my archers dying

Also say dragon flies, mainly because I have to fight them early and they are faster than I am and can always reach me first round and kill something. Cleaning hives early also poses a problem for me.
Seeing dragon flies on the adventure map guarding something annoys me too - they couldīve been golems!!!
Plus, they dispel.
edit: and yes, there is often good ways to counter them, but its not always that I can do that, and when I cant im doomed to get unessessary losses due those snowers.
