Hi, what's a good name for a golem that changes shape based on it's environment? Eg, in the desert it becomes a Rakshassa Golem, in the Snow it becomes a Yeti Golem, etc.

of course they care what we want. That's why they stopped working on Nagas, made a town filled with Dwarves, have no Rocs or Medusae or Werewolves in the game and are telling us nothing about the next game.

Well saying that the Nagas didn't get in because no one listens isn't quite right. Ubisoft sees and hears what you want, but it's up to the producer to decide what gets in and what doesn't. The Nagas were just supposed to have a different role than before.
And they tell you nothing about the next game because it's not the right time yet. When Ubisoft decides it's time to tell about Heroes VI than they will. It's not like all the developers tell each and every detail about their products on the first day of the development.

I have a guess about it: they think for the long run.
If they plan to have another game in the series, it is wise to not add what the most is waiting for to the current one. It leaves things to be waiting for.

There are no official (or unofficial) announcements yet, so you may say this is wishful thinking. There have been a few hints, but nothing solid.

Heyho!
I just felt like to check out if there's new news on AOE and spotted something that amazed me so deeply it made me to return to HC.
So as you might have guessed it's about the "new Hungarian developer". Where did this ...[no really appropriate adjective found] rumour come?
Anyways I'm pretty sure that it is very unlikely for a company to come to Hungary in all this "economic crisis". Though it would be good in some ways I'm sure, it won't be the best for the game I guess; because of the change, not the country of course. I believe Armies of Exigo is a Hungarian job and I liked it...
So do anyone know the origin of the wild rumour? (probably the Tavern... or the Thievs Guild? )
PS.: Phew... I just deleted this post in time from the announcements thread... the long time I was away, I forgot about things...

I don't think there will be a HoMM 6. Look at the number: 6. Uncool. You can't end a series at 6, so they'll have to continue. And that means two new games, which they probably don't wanna do. This is serious business, they can't make two new games cause people are emotionally atacked to the old ones.
They have to ask, what makes the most money? I don't think it's heroes games anymore. Only stupid first person 3d shooters.
and about ubi listening to us: Probably not. They maybe try to look at our suggestions, and want there to be something good but let's be honest, fans are no good at getting ideas.
They may have great imagination, but the suggestions are almost always unrealistic in terms of making a fun semi-casual game. Too easily the suggestions become too complicated for casual players. Alsoour suggestions are unbalanced, and too personal for themselves.
So few suggestions are actually useful, and I do think the developers also are quite enthusiastic themselves and have their own ideas.
I may sound pessimistic, but let's forget what I said and dream

Heroes 6 is in (early) development. No reason to believe at present that it will not be finished. Time will show.
