i think i should by i have the demo and that is boring you have to little things and wen you go you just go in a little circle that is not fun but i think the real game should be fun

My brother got this game for a week ago, i must say that i find this game insanley boring and stupid. Ugly graphic with baby textures, and a sick gameplay.. I mean come on, Sims 2 was even better than this (or not)...

yeah now that this is revived I have a few qestions. does there only exist two expanions? cause what I know of there are spore galactic adventures and spore cute and creepy.I have also heard that you will get ots of new parts from he patches but is there parts to download seperatly?

Not as much as "expansions", but more like creature packs. Nothing fancy that you cannot design yourself through the editor, just another means for EA to extort some more cash.

well from what I heard you can walk around without the spaceship in space mode. and you can design planets in a more accurate way. and the other one sure have some cool objects that is very hard to do without the extra pack.

well I got the creepy&cute package. and some of the parts are awesome. I also downloaded the latest patches and a few bugs where fixed. but they didn't fix the bug I hate the most. the tribe phase bug. sometimes when in tribe phace your creatures look like they are carying two weapons. this doesn't affect gameplay at all but it is annoying.

It mostly use the components from Bodies tab for head, arms, tail, neck, and body, can't tell you precisely though, i forgot most of them (i don't play spore anymore since last november). For legs, i use the one from Land tab, and wings are from Air tab. Eyes are from Effect tab, i use the one that has bluish glow.
I believe you can find out how to create most of the parts, except for the head, its head is the most difficult to create, it use only parts from Bodies tab too, but a complex combination of it, and i forgot them, and if you see it carefully, beetwen the upper and lower jaws, i add trident ray from Weapons tab. Honestly, my brother helped me to create the head, it's a join project.
I suggest if you want to create that, figure how to create the head first, why? because head is the most difficult part, so if you create most of other parts and head is the last, you'll have very hard time calculating and predicting the size of the head (because it's the most difficult and complex part to create).

I just bought creepy and cute, but it won't install, neither do patches. The problem is that i installed it from an external harddisc, couldn't find the cd (can't find it now either). To install it, i need this registry code(regedit):HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\Spore
There shall the path to installation location be and if the installiation was complete. Can somebody post or pm me with these codes?

Forget it, i found the registry values, but i still can't seem to install the patch which is needed for creep and cute. So can someone send me those (pics also works great):

(This contains information regarding the install directories and whether installation is complete.)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Electronic Arts/EA Games/SPORE(TM)/ergc
(This contains the CD key)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/EA Games/SPORE
(This contains the DisplayName which is SPORE with the tiny TM symbol after it)
