Well well people don't forget Gladerion over all the War of 5/8 especialy now since matthew seems to be in such a unpleasant situation. Oh and don't worry about me turning back and leaving you without a boat that's just what he thinks now. I thougth about getting out of the boat when the first people start to look for Matthew and then I would go check out whats wrong and then we'd met up and the whole thing would be fine again . If that's ok with our DM (isn't that what you call the guy/girl in charge?).
Besides how many are we actually on the island right now?
Rabidus (Elvin), Matthew(Mytical), Alkar Rahn (AlkarRahn ), Satella (Ceres),Mordock, Lord of Unholy Fury (Omega) and technically EDN and Joonas but I don't now whether both of them are still active in this one.

So, could this vanishing of the ground be seen, or is it out of view? Or is it just in his mind, and not able to be seen by anyone, besides him?

Oh it is quite real, and if anybody is near the area it would be able to be seen. Only big enough for a large person to fall through, however. As if specifically designed for that exact purpose.
And within reason anybody can direct the story as far as I am concerned. So him stowing aboard is fine with me.

Then that means Rabidus leaves the team and goes ahead in the wilderness. He's not much for company either and feels he is close to his goal. Of course there is the point whether what he seeks is actually real(not a chance in a million ) and what will happen should he fail to find it. Or what else would come in his hands.
Edit: Came out a bit larger than I expected. For the record the staff and the plant are attuned to the druid's mind. The staff has a few surprises of its own but it's more tricky than powerful. Has a few minor enchantments to grow spikes, entangle etc.
As for the plant, its bulb conceals razor sharp teeth. Again nothing overly intimidating as the bite is not that harmful.

I'm having a hard time seeing Alkar Rahn traveling with some(half, at least) of the members of this party, even if he had to. He'd prefer to just go back to the human area, and wait for other party members to travel with, rather than staying with those he's with now.
So, if you don't mind, Misty, could I switch out members? The party is, for the most part, at the shore line. Whoever I switch out for would have to come by boat/ship. Alkar could head back by that boat/ship.
If this is alright, are there any races that are opposed to being evil?
