No it won't, because it knows the orcs will deal full damage instead of half when the hags move there

I dont know either how they would move if you didnt have any shooters. But my guess would be that they would wait as usual round 1. For them to move forward asap would require that the ai is programmed to look for safehavens like that and I doubt thats the case.

If you keep the save, it would be interesting to see their behavior if you didnt have shooters. Can you load, dismiss the orcs and see what will they do?

I tested. Well they didnt rush instantly. So in that case its wise to do as Marreti said. The only problem is how you will protect your pixies there, since its 2 hex place there.
Otherwise i wonder how you got there? The harpies were the zone guard and you were already in the flux zone. Was there another second guard wich was placed in such way, so you can pass after the fight with them, but could not move afterwards?

I think that's the most probable way he got there if you don't see another way

Exactly. It was quite funny actually, I attacked the dwarfs and was glad to pass without fighting harpys, then I see that I have to fight them.

Well It happens quite often. You should pay more attention. Because this guards was quite easy, but there are times where you have throng nagas and lots black dragons. There will be pain...
