I think you're thinking of Ghost; Fighting could always hit Flying it just gets resisted. (...unless you're part something else like Steel that is weak to Fighting in which case it does normal damage. )

Welp. Two weeks of nothing but self-pity and mindless watching things online later, I think I’m over getting rejected by every job I applied to despite getting an interview at five different places. So what’s going on in here?

... I appear to have missed a few rounds of combat.

... I can justify this in character. Kareeah do pokemon get an action the moment they are sent out, or if I sent out, say, Lapras right now, would I have to wait a round before acting?

I can answer that as I made that mistake already.... Yes they do, when you send them out they can act immediately. But if you switch from one to another, they do not.

Gnomes, Bubble or Bubblebeam? Bubblebeam is single-target, Bubble is multi, and your Corphish knows both. (If the latter you can pick two more targets; Corphish's Special Attack is 43. If the former, let me know which one you want to hit.)

I know this is kind of off-topic, but if you aren't doing it already, ask anyone you interview with to give you a reason why they passed you over if they do so. SFAIK they aren't required to honor your request, but for the ones that do you can use the feedback for future interviews. And if they all give you consistent feedback it can help you identify (and clean up) any weak spots in your resume and/or interview technique. Sometimes it's stuff you can't help (EX: lack of experience) but for example, on my last interview circuit I was getting passed over because my code samples were old, so I knew to just take that off my resume until I had a new set to replace them with.

We do have the option to ask our Pokemon to evade instead of using an attack. It's not guaranteed to work though. (Also defend - which decreases the amount of damage they take while they do it.)

Weepinbell – learns Acid (KNOWS SIX – DROP ONE)
Ratman – can evolve

Kirlia will drop Growl for Calm Mind. Also! I have a terrible plan that will ABSOLUTELY GET US KILLED so we should do it. Yes.

Basically, if he's able to, Mark is going to have Kirlia repeatedly use teleport to send all of the grunts to the pokemon center, bouncing her back and forth between him and there until the six grunts are taken care of, and then teleporting back to pick him and Matt up as well. If it's possible, he would have Mina teleport back immediately with her Natu so that she could explain why a Kirlia just keeps popping in and dropping off unconscious people, and have Kirlia teleport Mina's Natu when she makes her return journey, so that the two of them working together can make the process much faster.

This is something that I am more than willing to write out IC, and edit my original post with, but I didn't want to assume it would work in character and then get it shot down. So looking for confirmation from Kirlia/ OoC before pulling the trigger on it.

Also, let's have Jessia's future EV's be split evenly between Special Attack and Speed.

You can do that; I will note that Kirlia can only manage two people at a time right now and you may need to chain Teleports (as in...teleport halfway back to town and then teleport the other half of the way) to get back due to the distance/places been restriction, I need to check the map. Also Teleport has a PP of 20, so don't forget to factor that in.

I mean, with Kirlia alone that would mean she can make 5 trips back and forth, and if she can move two people by herself then she only needs 4 to get the 8 people here to the pokemon center. If Natu joined in, then the number of trips goes down to 3. So PP doesn't feel like a concern to me.

Nine; don't forget the head Grunt you had Kirlia knock out. (It doesn't wildly change your situation, of course. But it might if you leave him behind. )

Give it time.

*coughs* I did check the distances and Kirlia should be good to Teleport straight back to Ceris, no chaining needed. Natu's is borderline, but close enough.
