I think the best is the champion. Their jousting bonus is good for exploration : with tactic you can reach the ranged units and kill them in one blow.

Dred Knights are definite the best lvl. 6 creature. It has amazing attack and defense, good speed, death blow and curse. Can you ask for more?

To me, it depends on what I'm tryin to do. If i am rushing, I go wys. If I need shooters cyclopes. Nagas and unicorns make good defenders. Manticores are fair shooter blockers. Finaly, Magic elementals and death knight are all-purpose units.

I really like them, but as there are as many phoenixes awailable as Elementals, I always feel thers too few of them...
Cyclops:
I like them, but they are so hard to get...
Efreet/Manticore/Wyvern/Unicorn:
Kinda situational, a little weak, but still lvl6 creatures, great for creeping.

Naga Queen or Dread Knight... depends on which town you prefer or which is allowed.

IMO the Dread Knight is the best, still Efreet Sultans are death to shooters and they shouldn't be at the bottom of the list.

Wyverns aren't bad too, but only if you have them in big numbers 'couse if they don't kill in first blow they'll be dead in no time.

Naga Queens can do things that DK cant.
Against the map (wich is the most important thing), Naga Queen has no rival among the 6level creatures.

I think Naga Queen is the best lv6 creature. No enemy can retaliate, high and fixity damage (30). The only weekness of them is slow, and they are expensive.
The second is Dread Knight: high HP, death blow does double damage, and curse.
If count all creatures in neutral, in WoG, I like Nightmare with death stare!

Champions are great but as far the best goes, I'm not sure if they are but they may be.

Dread Knights are the best lvl 6th units in my opinion, yes Naga's might overpower the Dread Knight but the knights just seem more useful for me.

I think against the map, the sultans are better than the naga queens.
Speed 13, flyer, fireshield...and if possible arma-combo.....and cheaper also.

You forgot regeneration and rebirth.
Yeah i think Sultans can be really useful too but I'm not a big fan of the Inferno.
