Use Djinn Sultans on the immune unit and hope for confusion to roll up

Are creatures immune to confusion from Dark Magic Heroes, but not from Djinn Sultans?

week of festivals = half gold from towns and mines

assuming you have a capitol, a grail structure, the special town that gives you extra gold and a djinn's treasure cave you would get:

.5 * (4000 + 5000 + 250 + 500) = 4875/day

if you have eight heroes(it's possible to get more than that if you free someone from jail when you have eight, but let's not worry about that for now) with estates, and each has a crown of leadership and a bag of endless gold and each gets wizard's reward in this turn you would get 8 * (500 + 1000 + 1000) = 20000

20000 + 4875 = 24875.

@ebbafan
u missed gold mine (+500)
and i said regularly per day income (-8000 from wizards reward)
so its 17375 gold/day (still pretty impressive in a week of festivals)

but u were right overall, so its your turn

Of those you mentioned, only the black dragons are immune to both weakness and divine strength...

wow, outstanding buji, you got all of them on the first try!

@rubycus: weakness and divine strength affect damage range. if your damage is fixed, it's not affected. furthermore magnetic golems are immune to light and dark.

next q belongs to buji

Ok, I see your point, but to be correct they're not immune.. They're only not affected...
See my point? They don't have any immunity... (apart from Black Dragons (and golems) )

technically you are right rubycus, but it doesn't change the outcome does it?

anyway i have a new interesting question out, since buji isn't around:

name 9 ways a mentored hero can possibly attain a higher level than his mentor. assume that they will both be fighting the exact same stacks of creatures from this point on.

i can't think of a question anyway

-mentored hero is vinrael
-mentored hero has scale mail/turban of enlightment
-mentored hero gets dark revelation
-mentor hero gives away his enlightment skill @ memory mentor
-mentor hero fights in week of folly
-mentored hero fights in week of honor

will be continued...

crazy ideas:
-mentored hero kills more goblins before they change sides > more exp
-mentored hero has luck (the skill) > prismatic breath kicks in and destroys the ballistae > more exp (well, i don't know if warmachines grant exp)

very good ideas here, but some of them don't give that much more experience and the mentored hero should get enlightenment; vinrael, enlightenment set, unmentoring enlightenment, and dark revelation are strong contributors, the others can definitely make a difference but are situational

@mamgaeater: well that would do it too i guess, lol

but don't forget experience doesn't just come from fighting, that's only half of the situation...and this brings up an important point about mentoring

@skprimus: your avatar looks vaguely familiar...is it from d&d's fiend folio or monster manual II?

MM2...also I provided more clues to KoH in 2nd post on this page...but you should know anyway

In answer to your question, for example a very good toh map Twilight World, one can level a main, visit the trees of knowledge & then mentor another hero that has not visited those trees...that 2nd hero can then visit those trees of knowledge that the first has already visited & will end up with more xp because xp being required for next level being sorta exponentially higher (hope that makes sense to others, I can't be bothered explaining it with actual numbers)

exactly - the order in which your heroes visit trees or other experience giving places is extremely important because of the parabolic nature of xp requirements as well as the formula used to calculate mentoring. it should usually be to let the mentor go first to visit, then have the 2nd hero go next after he is mentored. note that if the second hero also gets mentoring, it is possible to mentor his mentor(at extremely high levels)

however, trees aren't the only way(though they are the best way, i should say) of doing this. anyone care to list the rest?

Yeah, a sphinx and treasure chests and the 1000Exp-Stones (don't know the name) I would say.
Chests and the stones won't work very well, but if the Mentor is in Lvl 10 (It does work with Vinrael or Inga), it will.

very good: other ways include siren, demonlord's altar, sacrificial altar, and spell shrines if you are a barbarian.

i just want to point out that if you play a map with a lot of trees and use mentoring for eight heroes, you can get a hero to a much higher level than usual using the mentor the mentor technique 8 times

anyway another question for you all: your hero kills a stack of djinns that die on top of your dead lich master stack. name all the ways that you can resurrect your lich masters. assume that the opposing hero does not have raise dead or resurrection.

good going veco! i would only add that you can also revive the djinns with lich masters or mummies

you can ask the next question. how about the one about clearing a single stack of 10000 cyclops quickly? that was useful!
