I found a thread here the other day that had a link to a program that enabled the RMG to be used without having to install AB.
Unfortunately, I can't find it now.
Can anyone help?

I would like to help but probably I don't get what you want. 
If you want to customize the rmg.txt files you can use TextEdit. In the past I found it somewhere in the library, but since I can not find it again, I redistribute it here (3rd post on thread and has a link to textedit).
Apart from that, if you want to change the rmg you simply change the file rmg.txt in your data folder with the one you prefer. I think the above post has all the necessary info for rmg's to get you started. However, I have a link there Wizards and Warriors > Downloads > Maps > Random Templates which doesn't work. You can find premade templates under the Download section here or here.
Did these help, or are you looking for something else?

Thanks Dimis, but what I'm looking for is the .exe that someone (Xarfax, I think) made that unlocks the rmg without having to install Armageddon's Blade.
I have AB but don't want to install it.
Once I get into making temps your info will be very handy, though...Thanks a bunch
