Okey the loremaster answers
Im sorry but i cannot go to Dalaran (yet) because it floats up in the air and levitates around and we cannot use flying mounts in Northrend yet. But im sure i will be able to go to Dalaran later.
And its VERY unifinished anyway.

You dont really get to see the ending, it was a cliffhanger.
Blizzard has said that they didnt got time to complete that scene. Thats why its super low quality. But i have heard (dont know if its true) that you could hear in the game files a removed dialogue from that scene. Artas said like "I will let you survive, but never ever return to me again".
Anyway after the fight Vashj and Kael teleported themself and Illidan to Outland and they healed Illidan.
The Lich King is immortal yes. But i suppose we could kill the body but not the spirit/soul.
We dont know much about the Death Knight lore yet since i cant do any quests on the server. But the game files hints that there betrayal has something to do with the legendary blade called the Ashbringer.
They start in a Necropolis (which you can see in Eastern Plaugelands) and at a empty zone (or its empty in The Burning Crusade).
The Death Knights are free from the Lich Kings grasp and no longer bound to him.
This is what the game files says:
Knights of the Ebon Blade - Freed from the grasp of the Lich King, his former Deathknights have regrouped against him under the banner of Highlord Darion Mograine.

no there are two undead factions that i know of according to the frozen throne. yes this is as of frozen throne but should clear up part of the question.
1: scourge -lich king, arthas, and kel thuzad these guys control northrend.
2: forsaken - lead by the banshee queen sylvanas windrunner, and varimthras. these guys conquered the plaguelands.

Yes there are two undead factions.
The Scourge led by Lich King, Kel'thuzad. Anun'arak etc.
and the Forsaken.
Undead that has broken free from the Lich King and are developing their own plauge to use against the Scourge.
The Forsaken didnt have Death Knights because Death Knights are/were champions of the Lich King.
The Death Knights we play are not forsaken, they are another group (that will join Horde & Alliance to get help to defeat the Lich King).
Yes you will be able to use flying mounts in Northrend, but you will have to buy a thing that "warms up the flying mounts wings, making it able to fly" according to Blizzard.
At lvl 77 you will be able to buy that thing and use your mount.
Problem is, on my server this thing doesnt exist, so when i tried to mount up on my Phoenix or Nether Drake it says "Cant mount here".

To me lvl 77 is to late, IMO. Atleast 75, because flying is vital and if they just make it really tough to explore Northrend in that lvl, making it dangerous to fly in the 75-80 leveled places, then it would be alright. I Just want to use my freaking mount!

The reason is they dont want to people to skip content in the game. If they had flying mount at lvl 75 then almost no one would really do the quests. They would just fly over all monsters etc and pick up the item they need and then fly back again.
Blizzard doesnt want this to happen at so low lvl.
Also good news. I swapped server AGAIN. On this server you can "cheat" - kind of.
It means i can fly to Dalaran anyway and take screenshots!
I will do it as soon as i can.
Also im planning to go and visit old Strathholme/Eastern Plaugelands in Caverns of Time. I can take some screenshots from there too.

I was wondering when they would release the game
The official site says nothing about it , but there has to be an unofficial date.. Anyone know any rumors about it?

No release date yet. Blizzard doesnt give release dates untill very, very late. They release the game when they feel its ready, if they dont feel its ready then they cancel it (like they did with some games like "Warcraft Adventures" & "Starcraft: Ghost").
But the most likely is somewhere late fall 08. The game looks very good already. Blizzard started to work on WotLK when Burning Crusade was released and Starcraft 2 when Warcraft 3 was released...
My guess is late October/early Novemember with open beta starting this summer.
All they have to do now is finishing/polishing the last zones, complete raid bosses and some instances, create quests for all zones and fix bugs etc.
Its looks very complete. I love a area called Crystalsong Forest, i will take pictures of it.
Im sorry because i have not been active but i have had other things to do.

I was actully thinking later, like perhaps late december(probably before christmas eve, so they can earn extra money there) or early 2009 . Thats how I read it on the website  (just a guess you know)
But on the official website also states that they havn't plantet a beta, but it would awesome if they made one now.

The game is already in alpha beta (aka beta for friends and familiy...).
There was a closed beta for Burning Crusade so i guess there will be one for WotLk too.
Also the expansion MUST come this year.
Blizzard plans to release 1 expansion/year.
When i was playing alpha the zones looked very complete and get updated all the time.

Am not sure, there is some early misformed machinery (looks like ballista) wich is pretty much bugged and the destruction animations currently eat up connection.However I am not WoTLK expert so you should ask Xerox.

There are war machines but they dont work 100% and you cant destroy buildings yet. Lake Wintergrasp (where you destroy buildings) is far from complete. But there are two new battlegrounds.
Arathi Basin in snow and some kind of Titan battleground.
