I think i found a bug, or, well, a minor bug in the hire screen: the fire and energy elemental is pretty to big there. Also, not a bug, but fairies come from fairywoods that is a gremlin workshop also, sylvan still have fairies, not you should have added the wolves, but now, both conflux and sylvan has fairy as tier 1

Uhm, Guarder, please read the changelog - there you can find things that you don't need to report ("no visual changes yet (in town)")

thank you for the camera bug anyway

This is simply great. You have no idea how much I like this.

Anyway, I'm here to report the bugs, so...

1. When the Ice/Glacial Elementals move or cast spells, their water that disappeared when they upgraded, appear again (the water around the Water Elemental). I guess that it happens because their texture has been edited, and the water is also in the animations.

2. There's a visiual bug with the camera when you look at the Fire and Energy Elementals (oops, Guarder already reported this).

3. The Ice/Glacial Elementals' bottom part still moves like it's made of water.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Not bugs, but:

1. The Pixies are very weak without the "No-Enemy Retaliation".

2. There's noone sain that would take the Blaze Elemental. The Energy Elemental has "No Range Penalty" and for a shooter, "Fire Shield" and a bit better statistics just can't compete it. You have to either make it weaker or make the Blaze Elemental stronger.

3. The army feels so slow until you get to the higher levels. Also, the Air Elemental is not fun when it's so slow. My suggestion is: give it more speed back (6 or 7) and give him the "Range Penalty" ability.

4. The growth booster of the Djinn was reasonable when it was for Djinns, but when you get +2 Earth Elementals per a week, that's overpowered. Reduce it to +1.

Anyone else encountered this? Water spray should be on all tier 3 units all the time

Well, it didn't happend to me

Edit: Phoenix' range are half, while thunderbird and firebird doesn't have any. As far as I know range is for ranged units, and phoenix isn't a shooter, or is it actually?

After alot of testing here are my balance thoughts, I encountered no glitches yet that haven't already been listed.

Sprites - change spray attack to no enemy retaltion because at first they are the only charging unit until tier 5 and no retaliation will increase their longevity.
Dryad - Replace "Swift attack" with Gremins "Repair" ability as stated in my post further down.

Storm Elemental - I find this guy Extremly weak for a level 2 shooter giving them the ability stormbolt or call lightning would help after I had Archery this creature started to deal semi-Descent damage.
Wind Elemental- Good, Needs more Damage or Higher Attack
Ice Elemental - I agree with Warmonger in giving this creature 18 mana but that would mean moving this creature up a tier
Glacial Elemental - Blizzard isn't enough to make me choose this over the caster alternate, My suggestion is giving this creature teleport, +2 Speed +3 Att and +1 Initiative/Def to compensate for its absence of casting.

Blaze Elemental - Fire Shield Vs. No Range penalty.... I suggest giving this creature the Horned Overseer's Explosion and/or No Melee penatly to make it a stategic choice
Energy Elemental - Good

Magma - 50% Magic proof vs. Enchanted Armor/Magnetism I suggest giving this creature the Flame Wave Ability and remove the Magma Shield because there are so many Fire shields already. and its nice to have another Soldier Luck ability other than  Incorpeal and Mark of Fire.
Obsidian- Great

Djiin - Resurection is too strong, Give them Adv Land Mines or Arcane Crystal/Blade Barrier instead?
Efreet - Nice to have these guys back

Thunderbird - Good, needs Att/Def decrease because of their lightning breath
Phoenix - Good, Regen is a little weak

Food for Thought
-Change the Golem ID file to Earth Elementals instead of Water elementals, After playing around I got the March of the Golems perk for fun and found out that Water elementals with +2 Initative is crazy and giving this perk to the Earth elementals would be more balanced and the hero perk would now be for Earth Elementals instead of Water.

-Remove Morale from the 4 elementals

Thank you for your time.

I got 2 major things:

Tier 1 = useless, waste of time and money, cannon fodders without a purpose. I suggest at said above me: give it no relation back

Tier 2 = the shooter cannot deal any dmg. more firepower please.

oh and kalt(water elemental guy) is overpowered in the start. The water elements are mean

Well, i tried with Ciele, and day 2, i had 146 Dryads(!) with no enemy retialations, that will surely be overpowered.
And Kalt is overpowered in the start.

it has nothing to do with the texture, only the animations.

I also think that with no retaliation these sprites would take down everything in their range... which is already very long.

After playing a mirror duel on Onward template with heroic difficulty I may say the Conflux is really a powerhouse. It is extremely flexible and can adapt to a variety of strategies, from insta rush & burn to very smart undying army I came up with at the end.
enchanted obsidian, regeneration, Resurrection + child of the light + Refined Mana + Sar-Issur's set was my final combination Have you ever seen anything like that?
By the way, it's desrciption needs to be changed as now it affects PLANESWALKER, not Wizard.

The low-level creatures themselves are poor, but that is nessessary, maybe except the air elemental which does hardly any damage despite its numbers.
Conflux is poor at creeping as combat always involves meele fight despite the range of creatures, yet its potential is created by the very creative and broad set of options and abilities avaliable. It can play both offensive and defensive and supplies hero with eneough spellpower to get rid of most threats on its own. The Conflux is very weak when rushed early, but after collecting some artifacts and feats it shows its true power, just like Fortress.

Ok, I have to say that there are some poor creature choices atm:
Ice Elemental is a mistake. Althought it is suprised to be a caster, it gets no boost at upgrade except the frost ring which, still, can be cast only once. I suggest extending its mana pool to 18 = 3 ice bolts or 2 frost rings to choose from.
Phoenixes upgrades are both undercosted, and the Thunderbird it just overpowered. Compare its stats to the Dragons! and see how easily they die.

Also, I find the creatures in general too cheap - I just couldn't run out of money for the most of the game.

No weird bugs detected, Ice Elementals appear to look fine for me.

I believe I have a solution for the Dryad problem, Give them the Goblins "Repair" ability but rename it to something like "Preservation", then give the 4 elementals the golems "Mechanical" stat and rename it to "Elemental", now you will have a valid strategic choice of choosing between child of light, or healing your elementals. Problem solved?

Didn'y you read my post carefully? We alreayd have one regenerating creature, one guy with Resurrection and Obsidian Elemental which also rises easily. Come on, that's more than Necropolis has! Don't make Conflux totally invincible.

Plus if we rename "Mechanical" to "Elemental" then we're messing with the whole game balance, since we get Elemental War Machines which makes no sense, so we'd need to remove the Mechanical-Elemental thing...

Could Call it "Natural" instead of mechanical, because the balista and catapult are made from wood which is natural. Resurection is also too powerful for the Djiin, maybe give it advanced Phantom Forces or Summon Elementals if healing were given to the Dryads.
