Supreme Hero
The One and the Prime

@Wolfsburg, unfortunately...

There is a reason why I listed leadership a few times in above posts --> it's due to a couple of its perks (not only morale, but morale with high creature init makes one perk especially advantageous for sylvan compared to other factions)

I won't name the perk - you can work out what this perk is by looking at skillwheel but the hero wastes NOTHING to get this perk in a normal game!!! [this is unique to sylvan skillwheel, others need to pick up a useless skill/perk or two to get it]

In addition to above, if one gets access to mass spells: haste/cleansing/righteous might
{it's possible to learn haste/cleansing via arcane intuition}
[get endurance thru defence skill]
then it's really almost unbeatable in a real game if creature numbers are comparable size, together with its unique creatures (AAs, unihorns, high-druids)

Only drawback is sylvan with no RM & no retribution & no luck may not do enough damage against enemy with defence if AAs are diminished/neutralised...I think it was good decision by developer to make retribution relatively harder to get for sylvan.

Having said all that, I still believe in getting positive luck (at least 2) & so hope for luck artis every time

{I learned this thru playing Elvin's duel map hotseat, not real games; but I think it still applies...I've also read others refer to sylvan as the "joke" town}
Hope defeats despair - "a blatant clue"
too many idiots in VW
"to lose is to win, and he who wins shall lose"
bashing orcus

I unfortunatelly im temporarily not home, so I lack the replay in which I got late-game Nur's academy against my friends Talanar's Sylvan with retribution. Its almost impossible to believe how fast they eviscerated my troops. SCA-RY. I would'nt call sylvan a joke faction at all... hehehe.

Another thing that makes retribution look attractive on mid-late games is that you need frenzy on your way there.

In my personal experience: with very high morale values, a decent list of favourites, frenzy (perhaps rage of the forest) and luckily some damage boosting artie such as the bloody claw, dryads and dancers get devastating power. I've seen dryads causing enough trouble to deserve best unit award on some final battles FOR SURE. Especially when they heal themselves on the treants and return to deliver some more punishment.

Summing it all up I think Leadership allows quite an ammount of versatile strategies. Such as:
* Destructive + high druids + empathy
* High luck + high ini + crystal drakes + aura of swiftness
* High morale + Retribution + low tier damage boosters
among others.

Besides high level morale + diplomacy + crown of leadership can get you more than a few lucky joins.

All in all I think its a worthy skill and must not be taken lightly.

I've read here that Mystic Pond provides 4-8 Random Rescources at the Start of Each Week. Could someone be more specific?
Is it the same with rare resources and even with wood and ore and gold is not a possibility?
Is it the same with trade guild (Dungeon)?

If i have Ancient Treants and i use Defend command, their ability Take Roots will activate. Will it still works, if i use teleportation on my Treants to move them close to enemies?
