Good idea for HoMM5 
I kinda like the resurrect-spells of H3 suond and grafics are sweet  And the sp.-ability of the vamplords. resurrect in green with a cool sound
I also like the shield spell in H3, nice animation and a cunning sound.
Well, what do I like further...^^
-yep, magic arrow is kinda cool (as told in 1st post^^)
-precision is nice, too, cool sound, cool anim^^
-what kinda sucks in teh death ripple in H3, what did they do to one oth the most stylish spells in H2? (a wave of energy floods over the battlefield and leaves deads an injured in her way...  )
-bloodlust (it stayed the same from II->III ^^) I love it when the creature gets bool-red with this evil sound^^
-armageddon kinda sucks in H3, In H2 it was cool, like the screen getting darkred and shaking and grumbling.. In H4 it's nice, too, with the meteors falling down, 1 for every one on the field^^
-teleport and clone - They both are cool in h2 and 3^^ I loved the clone sound in H2^^ ssssst, and I got another xthousand skel-group
-Destroy undead.. well kinda cool in H2 but ugly in H3/4^^
- Magic mirror, I don't remember, how it looks in H3, but as far as I can remember (^^) it looks kinda cool in H4, same to pain mirror (H4 only)
- besides there might be some H4-only-spells that I didn't mention-this juszt because I forgot them, 'cause I dont play H4 very often anymore 
Well, enaugh for now, I think, I got every spell^^

anti magic - I don't know exactly but I think this one was cool, either. I should make a map with a hero who has all spells - then I can test all to sayx which are cool I will do, maybe then I will go on your nervs with a second post^^ (or en edit here?, we'll se )

I like Armageddon in Heroes One. Everything turns red, then everybody's face turns into a scared expression. It cracks me up.

spells are good
well, in my opinion i think that this is the way :
1. armagghedon , h2.... it's jus terrify u.... sounds and visual
2. bless , h3.... no need to say any word...
3. magic arrow h2... very nice done... an realistic concept of arrows and magic
4. death stare- it's a kind of spell... but i realy like it
5. weakness...

Hello!
I'm new here and I hope I'll get accepted by you quickly.
Probably no one cares, but... I'm 16 years old. I live in Poland, so my english isn't perfect. My 'adventure' with Heroes started about 3,5 years ago, when I first played HoMM I.
I hope someone cared for my introduction
I love the animation of Lighting Bolt spell. Frenzy is also nice, but I don't use it often. If it weren't Master Genies, I probably wouldn't ever see it

I think chain lightning looks cool in HOMM3.
I also liked the Liches Death cloud and the groaning noise it makes as well.
Mass prayer is so much cooler than single prayer as well.

"Cold Ray" in Heroes II looks nice. 
In Heroes III I really like the graphic of "Bless" and the sound + graphic of "Prayer".

Favourite spell visuality
in I: Slow (is it me or are the effects duplicate for other spells? O_o)
in II: Lightning Bolt (the sparks after the strike are just raw)
in III: Misfortune (it's just great how they made an evil look of the lucky horseshoe).

this doesn't really count since its not a spell technically, but i think the best would be the wyvern monarchs poisoning (if it was a spell)
i also think zombies disease animation looks cool.
