Plan A:
Map somehow through pure luck found by bandit slavers, bandit slavers loudly talk about said map as they wander about in Roberts and Ethans merry way. The duo overhear loud talking of previously mentioned map and track bandit slavers back to their camp.
Plan B:
Shariya has a copy of the map. It was clearly eshtablished quite a few pages ago.

I like this plan! Let them both be true  And we also might make it so slavers come to the village and capture, not only the children, but your party as well! Thus we meet up, break ourselves free and get know with each other(and hell, we might even join into a big merry group of adventures ) *dumb face* +

You still have two other kids and, unless she is a noble person (which she is not, judging by her actions), the kids are still a burden to people like Jeremy and Shalan and will still most likely die.

What? As an EX-thieves guild it's my duty to leave people behind and forget things like honor and duty and start focusing on practical issues. people who know Care are a problem. people who slow us down are a problem and people who knock me out are a problem. And you can count on Robert trying to fix those problems.
