Why is "hacking" illegal? What does hacking constitute? It means: "Find how to exploit the site's CODE, and use code to take over"
The search function exploits BB code that way, thus it is similar to hacking. I define that exploitation "illegal" -- there's nothing more than that to hacking a site (or "injecting" otherwise put).

Now I slowly get the idea why u and mvas have tons of sites full of quote wars. None of you even tries to ask themself if your opinion is somehow "out of nowhere".

Hacking is more or less, the ability to find information. Which is precisely what the Search function has done -- and it has done so by USING THE BB CODE! Is that more clear now?
Breaking into someone's private things? What if you only extract information, for example? It's what the search has done. It extracted information (the link to the post) and then you used it "normally".

If the search feature is on HC and if people decide to go and search for something, then you can't really call it hacking now can you?
I get what you're saying, TheDeath, but it just doesn't work like that IMO.

You can use the "email to reset password" in some SQL non-secure sites to hack them as well -- is that a "feature"? All you do is enter some code in the box, right?
similar to the searching for code, like [red]
EDIT: in short, a sort of "hacking" is considered when you enter "code" in a given box. Also, that was lame cheating, since GL did not want you to search for "red bold" capitals, he only made them so they are simpler recognizable, and look how we repay him for that.
