Crushed..? You are kidding me it was tense during almost all battle. Not exactly sure what happened with the dive - obviously a bug - but I'd probably win anyway. It wasn't so much the vampirism but using sorrow strike/banshee howl to implore the banshee wail. Oh yes it looks great now and if I could not kill those archers little by little I'd be in a predicament.
From Lexxan's part I don't remember the whole battle but he could have kept the squires close to archers initially and use battledive with more imagination  I avoided it more times than he could afford and it made a difference.

My point was that it could have gone either way if you had dealt with the dives better. That said I think by now we all agree that Irina should not be used again in this tournament. Initially I thought she was a decent hero with good army and that's it, boy was I ever wrong. Suppose Deirdre managed it with staff and stormwind, what about so many others that would easily lose to her?
Of course I have only played few matchups but the difference is noticeable.

I figured out Irina is overpowered as well and needs to be banned the same as Anwen and Karli

Anyway I think you should let IMBA heroes fight Imba heroes
I'm now seeing which heroes are ven, so I can point out the most balanced of battles.
Irina vs Anwen or Jhora vs Helmar are very close battles, where it all depends on the player's skill, rather than the hero he/she picks

Ok, I defeated Zamfir (Sinitar) with my Deirdre. It was really close

If you wonder why I raised the Vampires so much it's because the HP reduction actually let them resurrect a lot more when attacking (+ Vampirism) And his troops without the Blinded Hydras weren't a threat either.
The only problem as you can see was Sinitar with his Implosion and Destructive Spells, but eventually he ran out of mana.

Yep, it was a tight match. I made a few mistakes attacking those vampires, they ressurected more units than the ones I killed.
Anyway, Ash, little HP for the Vampires meant an easy kill with Implosion.
At least I play for Bronze with Lexxan.

I was hoping you'd run out of mana. And you did, but after you killed all my Vampires
Without Mana and such a "small" army (without Hydras) those Vampires would have been unstoppable

Actually Implosion is a VERY VERY weak spell for it's HUGE mana cost. Unless you are extremely desperate to kill your enemy fast, it's a very bad spell choice since it'll deplete your mana way too quickly. Deep Freeze is a MUCH better choice IMO.

Heehe I like Sinitar though. Always that thrill of the lucky spell... One lucky empowered armaggedon and it's gg for your oponent (giving that he didn't resist and you got >3 stacks.)That moment is sooooo~~ delicious .

Hmm perhaps but I share Deaths point of view. Implosion is more for the "FINISHING BLOW !!!" than for actual full combat use (I guess?). Besides a lucky implosion is not nearly as satisfying as that huge epic evil all consumeing lucky armaggedon ~~~~~~
EDIT: I have no idea on how you play a magic faction "effectively" so don't kill me if that's completly ridicolous what I said .

Implosion is a weak spell FOR IT'S MANA cost. It may look cool how much it kills, but later when you'll run out of mana, you'll realize other alternatives (eg: Deep Freeze) would have been better
