Thanks You probably noticed that the lower branch in the chart has 3 players, we'll do it like last time. Veco will play vs Tann and Final_Boss or zamfir will face Karim as a special challenger.

She? And yeah I'm going to give him hell! About the replays where the heck do you guys find 30 spellpower? Academy halted the orc army in its tracks, from that point it was hard to do much. A charging approach with horde's anger as support would probably be more effective.

About 30 SPower, maybe giving a fortune of money and a couple of Arties Merchants had something to do. On the other hand, maybe a bug from the Mentor could be possible, you know, taking and forgetting some ability which gives +2SP.

My feeling is that extremely high spellpower is rare.  30+ happened in 2 or 3 games.  Think of how many were played.

The map used to have only 1 artifact cart and that is less fun.

I know, it's just funny that since I added a second merchant this is the first tournament we've gotten such stats At least in the official games.

expert enlightenment+wizards reward+arcane excellence+dead flesh tunic+apprentice wand+(i think)dragon ring and shield for another +2. And then also the phoenix feather. With 2 arties merchants it's bound to add a significant amount of randomness to each fight, but I suppose it also makes it more interesting too.  

it sure was better than my stronghold match, where the merchants had 2 tombs of enlightenment, a ring of sar issus, and a few elemental artifacts

About inferno.. Do you think I should slightly increase hellhounds and hell chargers? I get the feeling they need some sort of boost but not quite sure what.



For now I have cooked up a new random version.

Reduced costs for shatter dark and cloak, 3k and 5k respectively.

Fortress loses 4 brawlers.

+1 random minor and major artifact.

Stormwind fix to give -10% init and -1 speed.


Asheera also added a script to reveal the area of your opponent's town. It was annoying when you got necro's popup window and didn't know what town you face. That should also avoid lazy mistakes

I don't know, I also have the feeling they need a small boost after I've seen some replays, but then again sometimes they also managed to crush the opposition.

How do the armies equal out when it comes to their overall gold value?

Hell Hounds are kind of sucky in general so that may be why you think they need a boost. I haven't noticed what you have when it comes to the Hell Chargers. They die quickly, but that's usually because they get ganged up on in the same way Grim Raiders do. They're just destined to die.

I don't remember right now, will have to count again the special buildings, dwellings and upgrades on top of army value. I mentioned the specific units because of their nature, maybe a slight boost would make a better impact in the beginning.

Nice changes, Elvin, but I think there were a good amount of artifacts in the map, so no need to add more
