Best players per faction
Question, who are the best players in toh per faction. Example: Kispagat is the best player with any faction because he always gets (all) the best artifacts. Or, Strider is the best inferno player because he can clean any horde of archers/flyers in week 1 without losses and not using warmachines. Keep in mind that this is not a contest of some sort, it's just something i want to know for my personal interest. And no, one player cannot be the best with all factions (except Kispagat).

Very true. I have always problems, cuz I always get staff of the underworld, ring of speed and armor of forgotten hero in my games quite early. So there are a lot of arties I dont really know what are they for, because the slots are full. And thats why my turns are very slow, I need to decide which artie set should I use.
I dont know who are best, but I know a Samiekl guy who plays awful dungeon. He chose light magic, wm, attack, enlightment, logs. Whatta noob....
Dungeon=destruction, dont u know?

Ok, but who are the best players? I mean, i understand that Jinxer's haven sucks, but who plays haven the best in Jinxer's opinion?
My dear friend Kispagat, when people strive to get empathy you get the whole knight set. Pffffffff. I can only imagine how tough it must be for you to choose between sets. Terrible. I sympathize you. So... who are the best players?. Seriously

In HOF ages Arteman - necro, at least on hourglass.

There is no such thing ... as best player with a certain faction. Factions are similar, and the player who understands and plays heroes best is also the best with every faction.

i will reverse the question and i will say that i am the worst with dwarves. also iohann, ballista's initiative has nothing to do with ability to play or not! artifacts and luck. that's all
towerlord it may surprise you but factions are the essence of heroes! for example i just can't play dwarves as i said. or iohann can only play orcs. or clayman is great with necro but sucks with others. it has to do a lot with player's mentality

For me is better to know at maximum one faction, compared to mediocre knowledge of all factions...

Or for example I am absolutely terrible with sylvan.. I can't win a game to save my life with them.
But inferno on the other hand I can keep pace with almost any faction with or without deleb. Deleb just makes things faster.
I also feel I can play all factions more or less equally.. except sylvan and Inferno, very bad with sylvan, very good with inferno.. others I am decent with all.

Indeed, after one has reached a "certain" depth of strategic and tactical contemplation, all factions are manageable with equal level of efficiency. It's true that creeping and combat with some factions are straightforward while others require more attention to detail. However, with the correct "understanding" there should be no difficulties.
I strongly suggest everyone to play full random - this way you forcefully expose yourself to mandatory learning by doing. Take care
P.s. With 3.1. inferno is back where it was. In 3.0 this race was capable of doing grand feats with scrupulous tactical combat management.

I think samiekl was a great player with dungeon on previous version...(I won only one of four games...and was lucky that one)
Also the best running player with sylvan was (or still is) sq.
Jinxer, the best in dwarves....
ELIT and/or Al...best with Academy
For me, I can say I tried (and try) all factions, except for inferno...just hate those creatures and dont know y...
edit/ I guess fiur was exceptional with necro on the first H5 version
and I think all agree with that

I think situation in Heroes 5 world is very similar to Warcraft 3 ... In WC3 are mega good random players but still they don't win tourney and are one class lower compared to dedicated to one race players. From my personal practice from TOH i don't know one single player that are equal in skill with all races ...
