Forced Donations for ToH

That is the cost for ToH maintenance as claimed by the Toh creator and proud owner - Vesuvius.
The original automation cost was one-time event so the expenses the Tournament of Honor site needed for one year should be:
12 x 115 $ = 1380 $ hosting and support
+ 500 $ for the occasional programming
Total: 1880 USD per year.
Because obviously the ToH owner is short of cash, some forced donations were made so that we all can enjoy the FREE gaming experience in ToH.
The donators (in order of donated money):
Clan "Power Play" - winner of "ToH Clans" season one. : 750 $ donated
The Caesar.........................................................: 500 $ donated
Clan "Rage Against the Living", co-winner of ToH Clans: 300 $ donated
VEX - Most Valuable Player of Heroes 5 season one.....: 250 $ donated
Strider_HL - most points in Heroes 5 season one.........: 250 $ donated
Total: 2050 USD donated.
On behalf of Vesuvius, the Moderators Crew and every single player in ToH I want to express our gratitude to these generous people !!!
During all the next year we could play in ToH for FREE and these are the true HEROES, responsible for that !
Applauses please !!!

This thread is a result of the nobility and modesty of several GREAT people.
They did not receive their awards (except Strider_HL) but instead they did what was best for this Tournament - they supported is with both activity and money. Because these are THE BEST PLAYERS in the TOURNAMENT OF HONOR. A true example of SKILL, FAIRPLAY and GENEROSITY!
Whoever says something else - he's a pitiful liar !
I don't know why Pandora complains. She was one of those who were saying that if someone wants respect - he should give something in return.
Now we donated some money for ToH - for it's present and for it's future. Our names are written with golden letters in ToH's chronicles!
We helped Vesuvius in times of need as real friends. We don't know him, but we know ToH. It's a place of old glory and success. A place for real HEROES. It is a priviledge for us to play here and we are helping as much as we can.

My first post related to this subject pointed the Clan-Tournament- winners as having my full support.
I felt empathy towards you guys and voiced my feelings more than once. I criticized Ves even being aware of what kind of outrage that would raise. I defended those who were labeled mercenaries from the very first page... You.
After pages of mutual bashing, Jinxer acted with humility and typed in red letters that he was sorry for the excessive flamming, Aculia said very similar words in the other thread. For crying out loud, even Vangelis, known for his short temper has apologised. The big boss himself came and frankly talked to us, exposing himself, sharing his feelings about the situation and willing to solve the inconvenience.
Elvin, me, Joe T., Antipaladin, Kispagat, Strider, Mytical, Pandora and countless others have tried to dampen the situation and bring reason back into the discussion. Many of those mentioned above, did that DESPITES feeling hurt by seeing their dedicated friend Vesuvius beeing so roughly criticized.
But your outrage was not yet silenced, your tone didnt change. You kept it going with countless sentences such as:
"A "millionaire" gone cheap. Disgusting."
"...he cheated me. He cheated my friends."
"What will happen if we start just ignorring the lies and dishonor"
"ALL THOSE PLAYERS WERE CHEATED by Vesuvius"
"But I can't let it go. Not that fast, not that easy."
Not satisfied with your current archievments you embrace discredit, you get to the point of creating a new childish thread with no use whatsoever to anyone, to further feed the flames and mutual hate. Thus making the initial complaint of YOUR HONORABLE FELLOWS totally useless, and basically losing them any change of getting any support from the rest of the community.
I want to congratulate many of my ToH companions for having taken control over their emotions and for having expressed themselves with humility and honor at the end of this big drama... At the end of this foul circular conversation you guys have tolerated further provocations without loosing your temper.
Al, you lose my sympathy and support here. Despites you being right, your big mouth and childish demeanor have put you in a situation where you are, as pointed before, a nuisance, an unwished spam generating entity. A dead-end to your friends arguments.
That me, Wolfsburg, saying those words. And thats my last post on this thread. I advice my ToH friends to save their precious english and proceed the same way.

A little story
There was this guy (Eddie), who like Al_killmore, was the ultimate keyboard warrior (but even worse). The difference is, this guy went on and on for several months. Forums created for people to enjoy discussion, trade ideas, or simply to make friends, got so tainted by this one character.

Anyways, as much as I wanted 'freedom of speech', this eddie character took it too far. He started threatening girls that I know, harrasing them, using profanity to the max, etc.. So I banned him, but he kept on coming back under different names and so on. He lives in my city. So I tracked him down, to a Starbucks coffee place he freqented. I met him there, acted like his friend, then took his laptop, and smashed it on the street. He was shaking like a freakshow (with rage and fear). Nonetheless, he was the classic keyboard warrior, unable to help himself when it becomes reality. I also had his dear loved myspace deleted, and (rather indirectly) had him fired from his job. As far as I know right now, this 37 year old is living with his mom, and has moved on to hating on other boards outside my realm with his new computer.
So what is my point with this story?
Well, Al_killmore, there is a point where you reach a tolerance limit, given the benefit of the doubt, that eventually you will tire of this nonsense. But when you continue on and on, I realize that there will be no end to this. I wish you were in my hometown, but you aren't. So I'm banning you from this board, and deleting you from ToH. Get lost, good riddance. (Of course, most likely like the keyboard warrior, you will return and continue under different names etc...)
The internet is a wonderful thing, but it seems that for some, its a place to taint the social communities that are built. The hate, the rage, from whatever problems they have inside, are easily expressed without consequence behind their monitors at the expense of everyone else.

About time Vesuvius. Good job man. And did you really smash that guys laptop on the street? I would have thought that would have taught him a lesson. Seems like some people don't learn.  I'm guessing that Eddie guy won't be getting any furhter in life if he keeps up his stupid actions.

I don't understand the fuss actually. For what I know ToH is a place you can play for free; and I fail to see why you should pay anything whatsoever, if you can play for free.
Anyway, this is pure whining, but it won't stop there, sadly.

Al will always be remembered of being the best cry guy of Season 1 & 2 of heroes 5 TOH.
