@artu, so in your view, the most ever awarded movies have a central flaw, not enough female talk then you throw in our face some idiotic graphics showing such. Had we put more female talk in such movies, maybe they would not have been awarded, because what is awarded is not gender or gibberish parity, but a quality plot and acting, right? Is like saying Mozart's Don Giovanni has a problem, too many males wiggling around. Silly Amadeus, that alpha male patriarchy apologist.

Such politically correctness level, that sounds so gullible to me, I don't even know where to start. But is funny links, so its okay, your post is fitting the standards.

To repeat myself ad nauseam, it is not about this or that movie having unbalanced dialogue, it is about having such a consistent pattern, even in the most unexpected films which makes it reflective of a flawed norm in the film industry. This doesn't turn the movies into bad ones, but reflective of the social norms they are created in, just like any other art work. Mozart lived in very different times to begin with, but if you want, you can also analyze the lyrics of Mozart operas and find reflection of social norms that are now anachronic to us in them. That doesnt degrade Mozart, because Mozart or any other artist, just like any other human, is shaped by the society and historical conditions he lived in. Political correctness to the point of stupidity would be to rewrite Mozart to fit the norms of today or a political agenda, in which case, I would stand right beside you in fierce objection. But detecting social norms and tendencies through art is not political correctness, it is critical thinking.

I have no objection to critical thinking, but that is not what you support. You support confiscation by force of individual hard earned resources by a category of people, then give it away for free to another category, on the base that hierarchies or differences between people/gender/races exist due to oppression rather than biology, competence, hard work, genetics etc.

This is not natural shaping of the society, this is a Marxist ideology taking over under the cover of "critical thinking".

In case you wonder about my opening statement, both gender quotas then illegal immigration issues can not exist without such strained confiscation. You give it the name of "humanity, equality, equal opportunity and empathy" but nonetheless, to make it possible, you have to take from one in order to help the second. In the end, I call it thieving, systemic oppression and heavy discrimination.

As concerning women's issues, they got equal rights, now up the them to work hard and prove they deserve also opportunities, without penalizing and discriminating a single men to get that chance.

A Marxist criticism of Hollywood would have pointed at the exploitation of set workers and artists by big studios etc, or -at least to stay semirelevant to the subject- the wage differences between actors and actresses. If you'so in the mood for namedropping thinkers you misinterpret, try Marshall McLuhan instead: Medium is the message. Not that it's relevant but Marxism doesnt say "all should be equal despite some work harder" It says "your hard work is exploited by privilaged classes." Oh, and I'm not a Marxist, it is just one of the tools in my thinking box like any other philosophy.

So basically,
You fail to understand the objection and relevance of the graph.
You fail to understand Marx.
You fail to understand what I told you.

Yet, you insist to connect dots between the three. It's a bottom we call This is not right, this is not even wrong. Try to sleep more, really.

/off-topic, really:

artu, the only thing that graph you posted proves, is that most people would rather listen to men talk, because they have more entertaining things to say(based on your graph). which is apparently why you won't find many romantic comedies or anything from the lifetime network in the top 10. your graph actually disproves your pov entirely, man. stay pro-feminist, tho. that'll certainly get you somewhere with quality females. lord knows they're all clamoring over guys trying desperately to impress them by spreading their sexist propaganda in a vain attempt to get in their pants. likewise, that's why so many blacks are fond of guilty and subjugated whites, too.

btw, those last two sentences are sarcasm; just so you know. because women AREN'T clamoring over easily-controlled pushover guys; and contrary to popular sjw belief, racist blacks aren't going to be friends with whites simply because they act like obedient little curs who'll lick their nikes clean. if you know anything at all about the black community, you'll know that they despise weak-willed and subjugated people. they target weak-willed people just like any other bullies would. doubt me? check out "worldstar hip hop", if you've never actually been around the black community, or even better: lived in or near a ghetto. and if you seriously doubt me about how females by and large aren't attracted to wussy males, then i'd advise you to take a look at ALL of human history.

Actually no, just because a convention exits, doesnt necessarily mean it is the best selling one or it exits because it sells better.

Thanks for the dating advice but I think, I'm a litte bit better than you in that area, of course, if you dont consider living with mom a long-term relationship. And we don't have blacks here so... Btw, it seems you dont know me at all, fred. When I talk with feminists, there are many times I am just as critical, it is this one-dimensional ignorance you guys pull, that often puts me in their defense.

well, i guess you told me, lol.

hey artu, if you really want to be taken seriously, it helps if you DON'T argue with reality, man.

and really, if you were so critical of feminism as you claim, then why do you always spout the same man-hating garbage they do, dude? you're clearly not as aware of what you're absorbing, as you claim to be.

be careful who you hang out with on the daily, dude. you'll start becoming more like them. another fact that you can feel free to argue with.

Well, your old habit of confusing reality with your twisted interpretation of it, doesnt suprise me much, fred. Remember the time you concluded there were no shows for men because they weren't call that: They were called regular TV. And those man-hating garbage feminists dared to start to have their own shows! Those scum!

I love you, too, fredmuffin. And since this is the Funny Links thread, I'll even send you a gift of a funny anecdote:

They ask Popper how he came up with the idea of falsifiability, he says back in his youth, in the cafes of Vienna, there were four theories that were extremely popular and constantly debated: The theory of relativity by Einstein, the theory of psychoanalysis by Freud, the theory of historical materialism by Marx, and the theory of inferiority complex by Adler. Popper said that among these, Einstein's could be proven wrong, just listen to him and check out if the gravity of the sun bends the light during a solar eclipse. If not, he's wrong. On the other hand he said, Freud, Marx and Adler could never be wrong. When a Freudian doctor examined a patient having problems with his father, it was because of Oedipus Complex, when he examined one without father issues, it was because he was supressing the Oedipus Complex. When a Marxist read the papers and there was an economic crisis, it was because of the inner conflicts of capitalism, when there was no crisis, it was because the working-class wasn't class-aware enough yet. When it comes to Adler, Popper even worked together with him. Adler was treating poor kids, orphans as charity work and Popper one day brought him one. Adler quickly diognosed him with inferiority complex. Popper objected, "but sir, you havent even properly examined the patient yet." Adler explained that his experience with a thousand patients like the kid enables him to quickly diagnose in such cases. Popper replied:

- Well, I guess, this was experience a thousand and one then.

Keep it real.

Try to work. Then you will understand and change the tone. No wonder the two HC comics who continuously lectures us on morality and society, one is retired yet he doesn't move a finger, despite the free time he has, then the other -following his own words- is still at midlife on family's money. And I mean it.

who/what are you referring to, here? i'm confused. it sounds almost like you're referring to me; though i wouldn't haven't the slightest idea why. how would i fit, against your pov?

this whole paragraph confuses me. who ELSE besides myself is a comic asshat blathering on about morality and society to a disinterested internet gaggle of guys? i thought i was the only one with those two specific qualities here. and just WHY would i be seen in a negative light, regarding the discussion at hand? what is this i don't even.

Well, since the length of dialogues written for each gender being continously and unconditionally, unproportional has nothing to do with working men giving their money to not working women, you yet again insist on calling your failure to understand and producing irrelevant non-sense, reality. You don't represent reality, you are so biased and consistantly one-sided on your arguments, you wouldn't recognize reality even if it had a picnic inside your head. But of course, you can keep trying to steal pseudo-arguments from "perfect example of reality's torchbearer" to cover this little fact.

Btw, I did work for many years in the past, I know the deal. I dont feel apologetic at all cause I'm lucky enough not to now. I spend the free time to create something, to study masters, to research history, not to fool around. The gamble's worth not to waste time on some meaningless job just to have more cash.

(You can relax, fred, he was addressing me.)

No, I was referring to the two I usually cross weapons, JJ and artu. But now that I think of, yes it may apply to you too: get the trees animated ffs.

And artu, no, I don't think you should be apologetic, not having to wake-up every morning at 6 is something everyone dreams of, me included. But being so contemptuous about the working class who has to do it again and again, calling them populists, xenophobes, racists, sexists at every opportunity, when all they do is opposing to the state which monopolizes an increasing amount of hard earned resources - to satisfy its deluded virtue-signaling phantasms about equality and equity then sexism and racism - is something that should not be tolerated. People who don't understand the concept of immediate necessity and the compromises you have to accept in order to survive have only a limited interest to be read, there is a reason philosophers and thinkers were pathetic leaders and slow to take effective decisions. There is your bubble, then there is reality.

I call arguments xenophobic, racist or sexist, and I am not light-handed about those bullets at all. You very well know this. If people from the working-class fall into such traps more (which is usually the case), that is not on me. And the part you skip is, there had been many times I had disagreed or criticized JJ, Minion, Blizz, Adrius etc also. You, on the other hand, live in this world of constant ranting about "the leftist snowflake buffons bringing on the apocalypse." You are not the representitive of the working-class, you are slowly turning yourself into a fanatic. So don't be the one to be bringing up "bubbles."

dude. i'd have to hand-animate 95 trees, not including the off-defs and clusters, and all of that for the grass terrain alone. that's not even counting the snow trees and desert trees i've done or are replacing, OR the trees i have planned for the rough OR dirt terrain. it's just not going to happen. besides, hand-animated trees will look wack, anyway.
