Create a Video Game Contest
Hello everyone, I'm organizing a competition in which you'll have to create a game (only in words  ). It can be only some kind of RPG - this also includes MMORPGs, and even a RTS/TBS with some RPG elements (such as having heroes, etc)
At the end I will judge the entries, but you all know that judging these kind of things is subjective, so if anyone else wants to judge all the better (of course, you can't be a judge if you also want to post an entry) - my scores will be averaged with the other judges' scores, and this way there will be less bias, probably
What you need to cover (at least) in your entry:
- A Title
- A Description of the world it's based in, as well as a description of the game itself (this also includes playable races, etc)
- How the game plays (rules, etc) - this also includes skills and other things like that. However, you do NOT have to provide numbers (I don't care about balance either), just a description would be enough.
- The Game Story
- Any other extra things you'd like to mention
Deadline is not fixed, it may change based on what the others say, but so far I'll say 1st November.

(It's good that I'm just a judge because my entry would be almost the same as in the Forum RPG Contest and that would be pretty lame)

Do you mean if you can create more entries? No, only one. But why would you create more? It's pretty complicated and better make one well and detailed than more but incomplete

Where is the difference between the RPG Contest? There should be an aspect like graphics or something similar to make clear that it is a video game and not just a P&P-RPG.

Well it is different in that you'll also have to explain some mechanics, like how spells and abilities work, etc.

@Snatch: Yes but in that Forum RPG Contest we didn't have to write their mechanics, because a forum RPG is not actually a P&P game (it should be more simplistic)
@William: I had no idea you made one before This one was inspired by the Forum RPG Contest

Okay, Forum RPG ist not P&P. But what makes your contest a video game contest and not a P&P contest? At the moment just the name.
So my suggestion add "Graphics". Visualization makes the difference between video game and P&P, which happens mostly in own mind and own fantasy.

Hmmmm. I think we should be allowed to create any kind of game type. I mean, sure, I know I could come up with a few ideas for some RPG type games, but I would rather have the freedom to be able to choose what I want. I'm still going to do this, but it would be cool to choose what game type.

Well the only problem with multiple genres is that it's hard to give a score and compare them - I mean, it's like comparing apples with oranges
But all right then you can create any type of game

I will create a Sceracion MMO(RPG) (yes, I have stolen it from the Joint Point H6 project and use it in all my projects and for my book).
I have some nice balance/game mechanic things.
Perhaps I lost the RPG Contest - but remember, I played a MMMORPG for over 1 year totally counting all the breaks I made.
