It's Been Centuries Since I've Looked Through Glade
I've taken a look around and things appear to be quite active. So good job to whoever has been organizing things around here.
I am surprised that there are so few QPs being awarded, but those are overrated, unless you have less than 4 stars and have flood protection  .
Despite my inability to refrain delving into side tangents (I love those by the way. Keeps things fun  ) I'm wondering what the new (to me) RPs have to offer.
I've taken some glances around and here are some of my first impressions.
Quest for Armaments (of God):
- It's either damn good or long-winded. The posts appear to be a tad lengthy comparatively.
- The title is rather intriguing despite the "of God" part . Why not name the God? (Quest for Armaments of Achilles)
- The basic plot reminds me of Cauldron's Keep, an old RP I made a couple years ago. Not that I'd claim to be the first person to think up "Quest to accomplish/acquire A, B, and C that are guarded by traps Q, R, and S, and horrible monsters, X, Y, and Z." Pretty much any fantasy epic adventure follows this plot. LotR, Zelda, etc.
Pokemon Adventures:
- I love the game, but an RP? I want to see the flashy move animations and the cry of my opponent as its life bar plummets to zero. I was never into the corny things the NPCs would always say. I just skimmed right through the useless plot line and go into the heart of the game, killing fainting KOing/capturing/levelling pokemon.
M.E.G.A. RPG:
- It lives up to its name at a whopping 33 pages! And it's still alive and kicking.
- There's a critical grammar mistake in the first line "wars and violence was" (should be war and violence was)
- Entropy is the best name for a chaotic nemesis ever
Magic the Gathering:
- Interesting Idea
- Not much to say it looks pretty straight forward
Battle Avatars:
- Is this more than just something about Battling? I love the idea of the world changing. I think it has a lot of potential.

So I read through some of the posts by Omega in Gladerion. Since people kept praising him. And I gotta say funny stuff. Reminds me of Douglas Adams.
@Titanium Alloy - I think you missed out on Glade being active back in 2004.
By the time you came around, things had already began to decline.
I would have loved to join some of these threads last summer, but I'm afraid I was busy in studying abroad in Korea.

So you haven't checked out Reign of Terror yet? what a shame... Really wish more people would join so I, dagoth and others didn't have to multi character to make it interesting

I didn't see that one.
I don't really know much about Homm5. Never played the game. I haven't played Homm since Homm3. It's been a few years actually. >_>
Anyway. Is your thread tied directly to the Homm5 campaigns or is it just loosely based on the concepts?
Edit: On a side note this picture has made me lmfao several times tonight. I can't resist it.

Reign of terror has pretty much declined. It started out very well with only like a few concepts of hommV (world, races and magic, campaign has been pretty much neglected, since we're in the future ashan) and a Sandro-like nemesis rose up and killed pretty much everything, except a few small villages and a resistance army.
That's pretty much it, but ever since a giant demon dragon or something came up I sort of lost my appetite for it 
Also, an RPG called 'gods' came up, but in the end that was nothing but powergamers. We also have the war of 5/8 which is a bit sleepy from the looks of it.

@DagothGare, Well, I had to do SOMETHING! Now thou I don't like the demons it was the only option I had left, except waiting for Enemality to do something, but that was his last post before his GREAT INACTIVITY... so I guess you rather see us all die for the hands of the big bad guy and his great avatar... or sumthing...

Obviously some individual thought that it would be very funny joke to rate all threads in a silly way.
Is it just a coincidence that the joker rated all threads on the first page "unrelated" and "spamfest" while rating a particular user's trheads with positive things like "inspiring" and "informative"?

Hey, the War of 5/8 is a serious discussion about real life and the many concerns facing the members of Heroes Community. I'm sure we've all had days where a hundred-foot tall giant has been chasing after us or we've been stuck in rewinding cities.
Really, it's more of a support group than an rpg.

Honestly these new stories look very well developed and written.
LHW was good, but it isn't the best out there. Let's not allow our nostagia blind us from reality.
