Personality - Trapped in a world of teenage agnst, Xerces copes by wearing black and writing poetry.  Somewhat depressed and off-putting with a nihilistic attitude.  Good at killing dreams.

Unusual Traits - Has the odd ability to slip into "Goth World", a dark, depressed parallel dimension where everyone likes Fallout Boy and broods about how much love hurts.  On a plus side, coffee and cigarettes are relatively cheap there compared to reality. He has also dabbled in the dark arts with little success other than managing to turn his hair black through the ancient Mabaline potion.

Fatal Flaw - Depending on how emotional he becomes, Xerces can be trapped in Goth World for days at a time.  This phenomena occurs because at his peak emoness, the residents of Goth World view Xerces as a divine emissary sent by the dark powers below to guide them through the darkness and pain.  The problem, of course, arises out of Xerces's strange relationship with the dimension.  The longer he remains, the happier he becomes due to being accepted and an understanding populace.  Unfortunately, Goth World inhabitants look down on happy people or Haps and seek to kill them whenever they appear.  Therefore Xerces has to be incredibly careful not to spend too much time in the bleak realm.

Catch Phrase - "If only you could gaze into the deepest chasams of my soul.  Only then could you truly appreciate how painful it is to smell roses."

Weapon of Choice -  Words.  Hurtful words.  Oh, and spite.  Years of getting beaten up have rendered poor Mooncry very spiteful.

Generic setting:

Suburbia.  Xerces spends most of his time in his parents's basement escaping the pain and hurt of the outside world.  When emboldened or required to attend school, he bravely treks out onto the mean streets of suburbia.  Overrun with nuclear families, soccer moms, and people who say hi for no apparent reason, it's sunny, upper-middle class Hell.

Lol, same problem as the efreet.  Gorgon's are magical creatures.  As for Elves, one of the reason they live so long is that they have magic in their blood.  Elves typically also make the strongest casters (be it druid or otherwise).  Dark elves particularly, that is why they have some inate magical ability.

As for class, since swiftblade/untouchable blade doesn't exsist..I take it you mean a fighter who specializes in rapiers? Or did fourth edition add a couple classes I don't know about?  Though everybody is not starting level 1 (equivilent of level 6 for everybody OR 3/3 or 2/2/2 for multi class).
