I think you're determined to fight, and read anything I say in the context of being argumentative.
In the OSM Feedback, you dismissed the conversation that had been happening once Deadman said that he had no objection to the thread's change in direction.
Clearly I've forgotten again the importance of choosing my words - I should not have said that you ignored anyone - what I meant is that once the thread creator had his say, you decided there was nothing left to talk about. In that respect, I think that if there are still crossed lines between members that can be worked out and resolved, its still worth trying to fix.
Barking at you in HCM - was it when I said that words come out harsher in type than when speaking face to face that you deemed me to be barking? Or was it where I said that I didn't have a problem with you that really made you decide I was pure evil?
As for my saying to do it yourself: for the last time all i meant was that if you felt there was a better way to make one Newcomer guide, why not draft it and submit it to be the new sticky? How on earth is it that you find that so horribly offensive??

I truly do not see where I attacked you. I just re-read what I wrote yet again, and I'm sorry I just don't know what you perceive to be an attack.
I don't want to make this a CoC issue - yes you did use asterisks, but if you read the CoC you will see where the lines are drawn there.
But please, don't react to me as if I have penalized you, i simply stated that if you continued to address me the way you had been - that would be my action. It was a warning, your quality count is not altered in any way.
I don't know what else to say, or how I could say it to not be taken in a manner that you won't deem offensive or insulting.
Maybe another day cooler heads will prevail, but for now...*sigh*

That's kinda unrealistic. How many people do you think can spare the time and energy to read everything in a huge osm thread? I never do that but on the other hand I never caused problems either.

You know what? This calls for two of them so here's the second:

Happy now? You made me sigh twice and in HC of all places...
And now a test - how many of you just took what I said personally? I deliberately mentioned no names and I wonder who took it personally and maybe wanted to attack me back because it seems to be some kind of a trend here lately...
I'm not really sure what this all was about because I could feel the negative emotions without even reading the whole posts (my psychic powers kicked in again I guess), but that's just depressing. What's even more saddening is that out of all HC the two of you (three, including Azzie) were the last people I expected to behave like this.
So I've got 3 more things to say:
1. As the loyal liaison of Pan, the spam lord of the wasteland and the guy who owes Azzie 2 beers I command you all to chill out.
2. Do NOT respond to the subject that's been recently brought up here, not even to this very post... the only exception I'm willing to accept is a a short and simple "I'm sorry for making Geny sad and I promise to make it up to him in whatever way he chooses."
3. If for some unknown reason you still want to discuss the topic at hand you make all your discussions through me. Send me an HCM with what you would like to say and I will read it, take out the main points and post them in here without all the unneeded negative emotions.

Why would someone need to state their full opinions on the subject when they can just, let's say, argue with something that someone else missed in the process?
Example:
Person 1 has Argument A & Argument B.
Person 2 disagrees and points out flaws in Argument A.
Then they discuss about that.
Later Person 3 jumps in and disagrees with Argument B, which Person 2 was not able at the time to come up with an argument against.
What's wrong with that? Does Person 3 also need to comment on Argument A, even though most of it has been said? If so, why? How is that constructive if he doesn't want to? Better not to post at all? What will people gain if they do not hear his arguments? To me it sounds like running away from arguments or being afraid of them and thus, trying to avoid some of them by saying "people should respond fully!"  (this eliminates people who are not in the mood to reply to it all, even if they have good other arguments)

The problem is that this point:

it overwhelmes and keeps on going in circles forever without (or with very few) new arguments on both sides.

Well both of you have a point. If someone can't reply to all the points because he/she has no arguments or knowledge about one of them, then at least (s)he should post that.
For example:
X says two points, A and B.
Y says his/her arguments for or against A, but doesn't know about B. In this case (s)he should at least say that (regarding B)
Just my two cents.

So what do you suggest? Not post at all? Hardly a viable choice if you want to keep people in the OSM since they do not like to not be able to disagree and point flaws when they do -- they could just be removed completely from that.
@Father: I could use some long english phrase to explain it without having systematic examples. But I'm either not very good at english or simply it's confusing for most people. Trust me I went through this so many times with "You didn't get the point" and after 3-4 pages "ah, that's what you mean!" and only THEN start out the REAL discussion/arguments since before there were only disagreements. Let's say I'm just tired of arguing over something which isn't even interpreted right
