I don't know where to put suggestions for Wog/Era, so here it goes.
The Emerald Tower could be reworked to really work for AI, this way:
instead of pretending to copy human behavior, would instead look for the starting race of each AI player, check if level 8 creatures are available and then choose and apply a bonus to the highest creature of that race, day 1 of each week. This avoids Crag giving me a bonus to my Supreme Archangels cause he took a cons and visited a Hill Fort and then an Emerald Tower for the first and last time, for instance.
Stupid bonus like turn creatures to undead could be avoid this way, too.
