Its not just warpath , alot of factors to consider i think.

I had a try with urgat, it all went well initally, utopia and wraiths on week2 day 5, then broke monolith of untamed cyclops on day 6, but the party was spoiled at the hill fort with 46 titans

Equila, maybe u can try out with Ossir ?
Actually ylthin is better, but the key would be taking utopia and wraiths with little arcanes on week 2.

Titans are the hardest ones in my book. Even if you block them on the first move you'll have some severe casualties.

Ye, guess I can have a go with him. Its either him or a Knight but I'm not sure I can coop with the massive wood and ore requirements.

Its not in the profile.

Installpath/UserMods/ (Mine is: D:\Games\HoMM5-ToTE\UserMODs\ if it helps)

Can't remember if you have to manually create it but I don't think you do.

Thought as much. Guess you're right.

Ossir try one went horrible. Tried to play it as fast as possible but I got "Week of Balance" the second week which screwed my Empathy/Luck build pretty bad

War Path/Last Stand/Light/Luck/Enlight build up next.

I went for attack instead of defence. Archery and battle frenzy helps alot on week 2's creeping. With englightment, they're "hard" enough i guess on the defensive side

Ye sort of agree but Luck and Favoured enemies(for the break) should be enough damage for most of it. Last Stand would be a dealbreaker when tackling the Utopia and Wratihs.

Day3 with Vinrael: Expert Enlightment/Expert Logistics + Pathfinding, downed the level 6 and got all 3 towns

HGD2-11Paokai

Edit: Hm, how did you manage the monolith without ressurection? Or do you build mage guild aswell?

Edit2:

Break - W3D1
Vinrael level 24 - Expert Light(Haste/Ressurection only light spells) / Defence/Attack/War Path/Intelligence

Didn't have enough movement to take down the utopia so just went for it and got "Ring of Speed" on the second island. Rest of the stuff was just random artifacts, Dragon Boots.
Last fight was sort of incredible(lucky some might say) if you ask me, took quite a lot of time

Talk about luck ... I just had all the stars in perfect alignment. Was playing with Dungeon and was almost sure Hourglass garrison is doable on week 3 day 1 at least, if not sooner. So i aimed for sooner
So i just broke through the garrison on week 2 day 7 (yes, week 2!).
I didn't save a lot of replays since most of them were kinda boring stalker and fury destruction. And to be honest i played the current map b4, and loaded it from day 1 to replay with same creeps and artifacts.

I started out with Yrwanna, since creeping with her furies is a walk in the park and the extra mana at start ain't in the way either.
The tavern offered Vayshan and Raven up for taking. So, i send raven out for the stone&gold mines and the witch hut, keeping in mind that 3-5 days from now he'll be sailing in the west sea.
Vayshan on the other hand was taking care of the scout dwelling and wood supply, before making his way to the underground monolith.
The first witch hut offered me Logistics ... and the second one, right beneath it (underground) had light magic. Since i was aiming for Storm wind anyway, that was just what i was looking for.
And one more nice detail ... the artifacts guarded by lvl1's and a lvl 6 were the Runic War Harness and the Boots of swift journey
So to sum it all up, i had Expert logistics and warpath by day 2 and the boots on day 5 (day 2 - dragon dwelling, day 4 - town on right, day 5 - boots + 3 mines, day 6 - second military post, 4th mine and the remaining town ... and of course everything in between ).
By the time i took the second town i had storm wind already and was facing ghosts .... i mean ... LOL .... ghosts ... with 3 speed ...
Oh yeah, there was a phoenix feather cape on the left side lying around as well. Not to mention a second witch hut with logistics near the boots.

Week2day1 I started right next to the stables underground, and was heading for the middle island to meet Raven, who has fished the other part of the warlock artifact set (the axe) and the book of power out of the water. It was becoming apparent that Yrwanna ain't exectly physically dominant, since her stats were something like 4-4-15-12, and i was getting more and more spellpower/elemental vision boosts.
Destructive was at expert, so was Log and Light, but Enlightenment just didn't wana show itself again after advanced. As for perks, at least i got scolar, so i don't need to loose time going back and forth to towns for spells. Besides Nathir showing up in the tavern made the decision easier . As for destrution, i was 1 step away from ignite, which would come in handy with the spectral dragons right next to my main town. I still had one free skill slot and i wasn't sure what to take ...
-sorcery to speed up damage dealing ... but late week 2 i wasn't counting on having massive spell power to justify it
-dark magic to blind and/or puppet them, not to mention slow and confusion (but i think I'd need Sandro's cloak for that, not sho')...
-summoning ... phoenix is nice, it's only a question if i'm gona get the spell anywhere, besides, the upper 2 seem more interesting...
... we'll see ... the randomizer won't probably let me pick what i want anyways..
Few steps down the road the next nice surprise, Tome of summoning...
well that clears the earlier confusion nicely... summoning it is

Few days later (read: two days, damn boots+warpath is lethal ), I've slain the Spec Drags next to my town, found resurrection and deep freeze, and had plenty of time to go downstairs and make some spring cleaning in the basement, while the 6 or so lackies were running around collecting resources and livestock for the final battle.
The cherry on top was probably the ring of speed (20%) i found in one of the trade guilds, and the two, usualy useless, necromancer set artys, lying around, that combined gave my enemies -1 speed.

The replay seems to be broken though ... somehow the hydras never go below 21, although there has been only 1 left at one point, around the teleportation (i'll upload it later... out of time ). Till then, I entered the field with 24 Deep Hydras and 2-2-3 Shadow Mistress and left victorious without any losses, except for 300 or so mana

Impressive
Really didnt think magic was enough that early. Looks like you got most of the spells from the Shop and other heroes but how did you manage the monolith? Tried it before with dungeon and Dark doesnt work and Destructive just doesnt pack enough firepower. Even with Summoning/Light you need a LOT of mana to make any difference.

Looking forward to the replays, nice work.

Very impressive indeed Congrats
Although the dungeon hero might not win the game with 3 magic in end game, but week2 day7 is an excellent record in this map

wow ossir is ridiculous! just took out 100 shadow dragons(red/shadow mix 4 stacks) with 80 arcane archers, and i didn't even have attack

i take it back, week 3 day 1 is easily achievable in this map

and with dungeon...well of course, it's the faction of last resort

no thanks, my plan would be almost exactly the same as redfury's

yrwanna is the best for gaining levels + mentoring since she starts with enlightenment + intelligence; it would be a lot of extremely boring stalker/fury abuse and continuous bombardment of the garrison over and over again with mentored warlocks, wizards, etc.

that doesn't mean i would be able to beat his record of course, but i might be able to match it. in any case i am content with letting his record stand.

edit: i like redfury's warlock build, but i would probably have all my mentored warlocks get last stand + empowered armageddon. even that fearsome garrison couldn't possibly take too much of that

Yrwanna was able to do it on 2/7, i think the boots of swift journey played an important part.
Question on stalkers, were u on 3.1 or 3.0 ? Cos 3.0 stalkers abuse was different from 3.1 ? , the firewall method actually didn't work at 3.1, how did u abuse it ?

I was thinking about something like this aswell but it's quite easy to talk about and a lot harder to put into action. You probably wont have enough days to get any mage guild up so you need some decent spells(or armageddon) from the spell shop, which is 1/10. Defence->Last Stand is a 2% skill aswell so the statistics really doesnt fall in your favor.

Still think the hard part is getting past the T7 guard outside the base. If you manage that one you will have access to a lot more and the barricades will fall soon enough. Maybe with Cold Death, walkers and perfect terrain.

Might give it a try thou but it will most likely take several attempts before you can manage it. Wonder if week 1 is doable

Try hit and run on the garrison 3-4 times on week 1 or 2

sq79: i'm using 3.1, as storm wind is a lot better (twice as good ), then it was before. For caster creeps ... i used skeletons with my stalkers. 1 on each side, so they get shoot down/ while the stalkers go into hiding and moving... But i was suprised to learn that casters will prefer killing a 1 man stack over the 30 man stack next to it, when both are hidden.
Basicaly if you only enter the field with 1 stack of stalkers whey are gona get casted fireball or something upon them even when hidden. When you have more stacks .. enemies prefer to kill the ones they can see first. I did leave the skellies at home at one point to gain some morale, and had to split stalkers against mages. I forgot myself one battle, and hid all 3 stacks (28-1-1) ... and the mages took down the 1 man stacks with fireballs instad of the the big one :S not realy sure what that was all about. Do they base their decision on the next creature to be in the ATB bar, or the last creature that acted, or are they just trying to prove their incompetence ... remains to be seen

As for the dragons: Storm wind realy helps out a lot here, undead dragons are slow to begin with, and with -2 more speed they don't come across at all. And by the time i attacked them my fireball took out 8 in a stack of 20 (4 stacks). Ignite did the rest. Although you gave to have some luck that randoly flying dragons don't reveal your stalkers. Oh and the phoenix feather cape and them beeing of water alignment might have tipped the balance in my favor a little But basicaly when the dragons came, my stalkers were on their other side of the battlefield allready.
