Yeah, it's me, sorry for the early disconnect, i just got frustrated.
First game I can't really comment, i forgot to get extra troops, i pressed the wrong button, so it was a no go.
Second ... i couldn't get intelligence offered, no matter how many times i visited mentor (had expert enlightment), so mana wasn't enough.
I also had warlock's luck, didn't trigger once in 4 casts, so much for 30% chance
Distract, empowered, warlock's luck and enlightment (if only i had intelligence or knowledge arts) were my best bets against a light dwarf, but they've failed me

You had disadvantaging matchups anyway ; elemental immunity is just a silly joke, shouldn't last for the whole fight. If your opponent had it ofc...
For the extra necro troops ; you can visit the building as long as you didn't raise your three troops, so no problem if you skip the first time. You may know that the bonus troops depend of your Necromancy mastery.

Battlerager is much more devastating than elemental immunity.
As for necro, i had 46g left when i saw the extra troops shrine ...
Not that it would've mattered a lot, i did click by mistake and blew 20k gold, so it was done for.
I had faith in the 2nd matchup that if I get a bit lucky, as in casting the first meteor shower with luck, then i would've had a shot at it.

In game one we didnt know who is going to win it until last move
Second game on the other hand was decided in round 1 , before i got chance to move all m units

Was lucky enough to a secure a draw from zilo
First game was my haven vs his dwarves. I lacked mass haste, just mass endurance/deflect missile and suppress light that came with the package. Certainly helped except he had Helmar so he still cast two spells at a time, that and there was not much use with my impressive spellpower of 1
I had no counter against his deflect missile and eventually had to charge him, to make matters even worse he had preparation. What can I say, solid
Second was a surprise. Not that I did not expect him to have tactics but bears playing first and striking back cyclopes, chieftains and paokai disorganized him and I quickly charged him to keep him from gaining rage. My dwarves were furious with battlerage, thunderclap, lucky hits and RM even if shattered. Boy did soldier's luck pay off. Inga rules, I had every rune I could hope for.

Yep. First one was a good one, apart from the fact that I snowed up myself badly with careless mana spending (got raise dead spell, bus managed to skip its usage ).

PS: It's nice to see Zilo started activity so strongly... but on the other hand we have plenty of black sheeps around, with 0 or 1-2 games.

Breaking news !!!
Another replacement occurs today... Rubycus is out due to inactivity, and his place is taken by Kispagat in Group 2. You may have seen him doing miracle creeping in Caesar's, now you have the chance to fight him in the arena !
You can start challenging him starting from now !
One more thing I forgot, in case Kispagat and Strider qualify to play-offs and meet, they will have to set their game times officially(in forum) and the one who skips appointment losses 1 game.
