Old (cheesy) french songs I learned back when I was eleven cheer me up somehow. I don't know why, I suppose it's this nostalgic feel and that other... I don't know it reminds me of times when everything was beautiful, times were much simpler and love had this fun, childish feel all the time, not just sometimes.

So it's wrong to show attraction and feelings in public then? We ( young lovers, eyh  ) actually don't usually care what others think, and don't wanna look like we're 'just friends', that'd be like hiding. I think that it's mostly older people who react that way, and are jealous cause we're "accepted" when we are "snuggling" ... I bet you weren't so different yourselves when you were younger

I'm talking about couples who don't look like they are in love.
I rarely see couples which seem to truly love each other. at best it usually look like they appreciate each other, but not like they are in love. the boy could just hang around with his band of friends and he probably would be even more happy for example.

Couples always makes me smile, especially gay couples, and I want to stare at them to sense some of their happiness, but ofc it's rude to stare....
MylifeisG.com always makes me smile too, especially the stories about people having friends that they really care for/really care for them, and the stories about compliments from random strangers that have made the poster's day

I guess it can be catagorised in the little things.
You can be happy you got a new pet.
You can be happy you are not dating Nammy Nabokov 
You can be happy that Mytical dont kick you in the junk because she can
You can be happy that Pandasia picked you to date when YaWacko lets her
You can be happy that your life has gotten better.
You can be happy about the new house you can finally afford.
You can be happy that the Governator may make more movies instead of running california with us Californians
You can be happy it's the right size
You can be happy that Geny may out drink you.
You may be happy that you did not trip on the twig.
You may be happy that you did not get bumped by William.
Last of all.
You may be happy that life can treat you better then it has in the past.

Sometimes small things can fascinate me for hours, things most people don't even bother paying attention to. Take a crystal object for instance, like a vase. I can spend hours just looking at it, sometimes spinning it around, just examining the contours or color or design. Totally blissfully unaware of the world around me. The exquisit feel of silk, the softness of a warm blanket.
Have you ever noticed that when they are not being pests how animals can be a great comfort? Just scratching behind their ears or having them curl up on your head like it was some throne or something? Especially young animals like puppies or kittens? Looking so content with the simplest things.

Lol just have to share one of the funniest animal moments I have ever personally witnessed. My brother like all types of animals, but he had a habit of rescueing animals with..problems. We had a little Chihuahua (thank goodness for Google or I could never spell that) that he found half starved and brought back to health. I think it had delusions of grandeur, however.
Our next door neighbor had a HUGE tabby cat. This thing was not fat however. It was just BIG. It was a good natured cat, and easy going. Our little bitty dog would torment it as often as possible, and the tabby tried it's best just to ignore the little pest. One day I was out front of my house and her comes the big tabby zipping past with the little dog close on its heel.
About a minute later here come the little dog, being chased by a fed up Tabby. Now here is the amusing part..the cat chased the dog up a tree. Not only that, it stayed on the ground and circled the tree like a dog which had chased a cat up the tree might do. After that day the dog didn't bother the cat and they actually became pretty good friends. When my neighbor moved, they asked if they could take the dog and we agreed.

Yeah, but only if it is crystal or has multiple vibrant colors. Then again I can sit watching water for hours also.

Some things have that effect. I would be able to watch a snow blanket or stand on a bridge look at running water in the middle of the night...
Then again... Snow doesn't stay for hours in belgium
And it's possible I'd be sleepy round the time I stood there...

Lol in Sweden the snow stays for one day and then its just what we call "slask". I guess the translation would be "slush". Everywhere.
Also our seasons are so screwed up. Not anything like this in November and December and then it comes in January and Febuary instead >.>
Also I have read that in the future, the Baltic Sea will become as warm as the Mediterrean Sea. And the Mediumterran (lol) countries will be CONSUMED in deserts! Sucks for then and pwns for us.
Did you know that once upon a time, Sweden was nearly a tropic country and Greenland was really green and had trees? Its so cool.
