Here we will discuss the infamous Energy Drinks
Well, I already made a major party-pooper of myself by saying that I don't drink alcohol in the Alcohol thread, however I am a fan of something much much darker and more evil... energy drinks.
Yes, these things are storming the planet with their massive sugary + energetic insanity. When I first tried them I thought the strong, acidic taste was a bit much, but I have developed an unwelcome love for these things. I have to constantly ration myself with not drinking them too often. Here are the top three in my list:
#1: AMP Energy with Black Tea. A very potent, bittersweet lemony taste. D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s.
#2: AMP Lightning. Bursting with pineapple and carbonation. Always a pleasant drink in the morning.
#3: Full Throttle Blue Demon. OM NOM NOM NOM.

Never seen any of those.
I drink an occasional energy drink, but more because of necessity than anything else. Usually it comes at the end of the week, when I didn't sleep enough the whole week yet still need to do some major studying.
What do I drink when that happens? The only thing the machine in the university has: Xi.

I don't have those frequently, only when I need the extra boost due to lack of sleep or when dealing with an exam subject that puts me to sleep  I don't recognize those, for now I get red bull but mostly because I haven't looked into it. Blizzard's descriptions sounds verry nice

Are they popular in Europe? They've conquered the U.S. On top of having lots of energy drinks, at basically every convenient store counter you see these things (or some variation) sitting:
They're very small: about as much as a shot. It taste like cherry-flavored medicine and is loaded with energizers. Some of them are sugar-free (and replaced with who knows what), but most of them have obscene amounts of sugar, which leads to deliciousness and this.

I've seen people drink this kind of thing at MtG prereleases to keep themselves going throughout the whole tournament.
Judging by their performance, it wasn't very effective.

Battery. The only energy drink I buy.
Black Magic tastes pretty good with it. And sucks with Red Bull in it.

Another really tasty line are the Monster Energy drinks:
They come in Green Monster (classic), Yellow Monster (Tropical), Red Monster (Punch), Purple Monster (it's not what you think; it's grape), and Blue Monster (Low-Carb). They also have some new Java flavors, which is like Super-coffee. These things really wake you up and I'm pretty sure they're one of the least healthy energy drinks out there.

They should be banned!!! Pretty much everyone in my class, and I know its a wast problem on many other schools too, constantly drink these! You should only be able to buy them if you are +18. The children becomes all... weird and it is quickly becoming a health problem among the swedish schools!
