....bernie, you have to convince your team then to use the town. I remidn everyone: EVERYTHIGN is ok!!!!! Even if your team decides H6 should be realtime - which, btw. would not happen in any team with ME in^^ - or there would be hero classes named Callboy or Epic Starkiller...the team shoudl jsut consider wether they want it and wether it would be good for the final scores, if they want to achieve some higher ones there...
as for the teams...sicne we are twelve now, as far as I see it, there could be 3 or 4 teams...I'd think 4 teams with each 3 members better, what do you guys think?
and for team founding: I vote for random (keeping track of the votings in main post by now!) and AGAINST team leaders as a necessity. I think each team should decide that by themselves, if they want a leader or not. PErhaps you could tell why you want team leaders so bad - except for your wish for someone to be the leader  . I think a team leader highly unnecessary (and, as a kind of socialist deep in heart, I do not like them anyway ) , but will bow to you if the majority wants a leader for every team. IF that should be, I think they'd be obviously representative - I don't want a leader to
1. - have more weight of choice in a team in any phase of the contest then their comrades.
2. - pick their own team
3. - be able to give orders of some kind (like pre-setting the resorts of their with-contestants)
4. - be sent forth as communicator of some kind (to other teams, or maybe later judges, or whatever)
...btw. I want one thing for the final versions of the teams' H6s:
Only those versions will count as completed, where ALL MEMBERS OF THE TEAM sign there a approval of this version by posting it below the versions main post! This way, noone will be ignored if the team acted against their wish.
...another thing...perhaps someone not in the competition could be a judge in that way that they intervene if the teams get inner or interteamal arguments? Just an idea, though...

I vote for 4 teams of 3 members as wel. BTW, I did not vote for random teams, I said I'd be fine with either.
As for judges, I'd say someone from outside the competition. It'd more fair that way.
As for the sign of aproval underneath the masterpost. I second that, it sounds like a fair way of making everybody completely agree with the final version.

I just rather have it if the Person in Charge pick the Teams, but I don't have any opinoin like War-overlord. I'll work with anyone.

why don't we get a Mod like Elvin or Mytical to chose the teams and judge? also, should each team have a separate thread to discuss things so that there is no confusion in the mother thread?

1st: We can do that - yet right now most of the people want random teams, as it seems to me.
2nd: definitely...this thread is meant for overall organization not for the in-team organizations or other in-team things. in fact, I guess it could even be nice for a team to use other platforms than hc, too (like icq or whatever), until they have a more shaped form of their heroes 6, so that there won't be too much interventon from outsiders.

Only now I saw this topic! I already posted my faction idea (Insect Army). I'm new here but if anyone liked my idea and want me in a team just tell me . I have other faction ideas too.
Or we just sing up and all the ppl with no teams are going to be randomly put together?

Hey Knight of Honour, no problem, one team can have 4, that's perfectly ok (3-5 persons per team, but divided as equal as possible, I'd say)
But, you guys, remember this is about MUCH more than factions!!!!! they will be important of course, but gameplay and the skill/magic/etc. system will be as well, and also all the other things, and the details! (artifacts, spells, unit abilities, heroes, etc.)

We can use The Randomizer to create the teams. Just give a number to each member and then add ther remaining one to a team
