I have a question: even tough I have tons of ideas, time and patience I don't know anything about doing artwork. Woudn't it be unfair since there are many talented artwork artists out there and some teams might end-up with no artwork member? Or nobody that signed up knows that kind of stuff? I think the judges are surely to be impressed by the visuals, and a proposal without visual, even if it is good, may not stand a chance. Perhaps ppl that is good in making artwork should be spread out amongst the teams, one for each, for instance?

Just use a public source then, like, say, the DnD galleries, or wikipedia (no-one's ever complained about my using them).

since we have sunday now (at least in my country^^) I think it's time for team-forming!
Most people voted for random building and so we'll do that.
Or to be precise: alcibiades will do that, he's a mod and not in this contest so it should be perfectly fair
And after that, the teams can begin planning their epic, glorious quest for creating the best HoMM ever!!!

I think it would be fine if each team made a thread to discuss their ideas. Not much risk of flooding the forum, not too much activity here these days, so 4 threads will not flood anything, and they would be off topic in other fora.
Just name each thread something like "H6C Team # discussion thread".
