I've created a few maps so far, adding only the NCF mega pack (not the dwellings yet).
It looks really good when i open them with the NCF Map Editor :
- All the options pre selected work correctly
- All the added objects work correctly
- The NCF creatures are also there
The problem is when I launch H5_Game.NCF, i got a message :
" Original game Heroes of Might and Magic V not found. "
Any idea what the problem is ?
PS : I'm using the original gold edition with the dvd inserted

same here  ...i reinstall all ,i use the old RTMG again.I hope Simonak will help to solve probl when he have time.

Hi rockgirl, yes that is a bug! a '=' is missing into a SQL request..... I will release again to repair it

strange..... H5_Game.NCF.exe is not for the Gold Version.....Gold version can have other versions of Heroes V system file.... so it cannot work with gold version?
I think NCF exe was created with the international TotE 3.1 version exe.
Check if your original exe and your NCF exe have exactly same size (to the last byte)
and check if you have « data\NCF__Core.pak » before run NCF exe.

EDIT:i got this error " Original game Heroes of Might and Magic V not found. " after much other error about creature when i try to open the game.sorry,i not make screenshot about errors ....and my game is not gold edition.And the H5 map editor not worked after,no worked the H5 NCF to.I reinstalled all and now i reinstall the old RTMG...creature scanning is soooo looooong ))...I hope the new RTMG will work soon,i already like it

oups... moreover I noticed the texts from english RTMG installer is in french....I will repair it too....
I'm able to create th "Original Game not Found" bug myself when I launch NCF exe...... but to get the bug, I must remove "NCF__Core.pak" from the data folder........

edit:i got more errors about artifacts when i try to generate maps...and after i try to open H5NCF game and got some errors about creature not found and visual not found and after the H5 game not found error.I try to replace the all NCF s but no success.I reinstall it all .

do you have NCF__Core.pak and the NCF Megapack?

sure i have it )...
i think why the H5 map editor not worked anymore?After this errors i cant make other maps with the editor.

Yup Simonak :
- Gold version = Tote 3.1 (it's the same)
- Original exe and NCF exe are both 12 783 kb
- NCF__Core.pak is in the data folder
No idea what the problem is.
As my OS is window 7, i tried to run it as admin, in compatibility mode with Win xp sp2, but no luck so far.

i unninstalled all and reinstalled the old RTMG,i hope you will find a way to repair it ,i cant stay now,my bf want to play Heroes  .i come back later

leave out RTMG of your system and try to run H5_Game.NCF.exe
