The directors you mentioned are good but I'd prefer John Carpenter or James Cameron.

Actually Robert Rodriguez was the director, but Quentin wrote it and also starred in it.
The beginning of the movie was awesome, then it just turned sick and kinda lame imo. But you can clearly see that the actors are just having fun, kinda like Ocean's Eleven. (the difference being that Ocean's Eleven rocks)
Oh and while I'm at it I just have to mention Tony Scott... I don't know many of his movies but True Romance is made of pure awesome.
The interrogation scene with the main character's dad and an italian mafioso is my favourite movie scene of all time.
And Quentin actually co-wrote the script hehe.

Well, Lars Von Trier is danish, so i didn't expect he would be known in here ;p
But his most famous movie is "Antichrist"..

Then you didn't get it!! Choose between those four! ;p But James Cameron is awesome yes

Hehe, erh well yes about that.. That was the one i voted for .. I really do like his movies, cuz you can't find any more Action-pumped movies than his! I mean, BAD BOYS I and II, they where like the best action movies ever.. TRANSFORMERS I and II, they where like top action movies too.. (No story though, but i do not need a good story when i can get some kickass action scenes with fantastic graphics)

I got it, I just don't want to choose between these four because I like ther directors more. However, if I had to chose then I'd probably pick Quentin Tarantino.

Steven Spielburg. A classic, and my favorite of the four. Michael Bay is good but a little bit too big on explosions and action. Tarantino has made some awesome movies, but he just doesn't have the quantity and diversity and Jewishness under his belt that Spielburg does. I don't know who the hell the other guy is.

He's big in Europe.
The list needs more names like Coppola, Welles, Scorsese, Lynch, Kubrick...

I have absolutely the same opinion . I love those sophisiticated storylines: "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", "Snatch", "Pulp Fiction".
The only Tarantino's movie, I don't realy like is "Kill Bill". I'm going to watch "Inglorious Basterds" today.
