Not just sentient. Alive. It eats(hydrogen or plutonium), heals(rebuilds), grows(into anything it wants), thinks and it's hopelessly religious.
So practically it's an immortal robot who believes in re-incarnation.
Oh, and it's a pacifist.

Name: Dalsir
Race: Andromedian - Male
Height: 254 cm
Weight: ...Heavy...
Description: Dalsir is a muscular Andromedian, who relies on his hearing and smell to find his way. He got thin grey and white scars all over his body after a lab accident, and wears nothing but grey ragged jeans.
Personality: Dalsir is a clumsy, laid-back and carefree person. He is quite naïve at times and often stops to "overthink" simple questions and matters.
History: Up to just recently, Dalsir had been just a normal Andromedian. Big, strong, dumb. But after spending some free time on mars during holidays, his Marsian friend had shown him his lab and new invention. Unfontunatly the clumsy Andromedian had managed to trip on the new invention, resulting into a cataclystic change(for Dalsir) and a tragic death(for the marsian).
After the court had declared the death of the marsian an accident, Dalsir got away with nothing else but bills...big bills. The kind of bills that can ruin the life of a carefree workless andromedian. Dalsir then heard that a new defendant organization had popped up, called the "Galaxy Rangers". And they were hiring!
Power(s):
-Illusjon powers.
Weaknesses: He lacks the immunity to pain that his fellow Andromedians have. Since this happened just recently he is not used to take pain and is takes even more effect from being hurt.

Gender: Female
Height: 3'
Weight: 38lbs.
Description: Appears as though she's a normal human girl. Normal, that is, if human girls had red skin, and a need for something more than a training bra. Though, the red skin could be ignored most of the time, seeing as how she is often covered with smalls splotches of various fluids one would find in machinery.
Though, cleaned up, she is quite presentable. Wavy brown hair, grown to a length just below the shoulders. Clean clothing, some of it actually being very nice dress. Eyes clearly the color of emeralds. It is amazing how she can 'transform' from one state to the other.
Power(s): Can heal most any injuries anyone other than herself has been caused.
Empathy(can detect a creature's feelings and emotions)
Weaknesses: Takes on the injuries she heals, though to a lesser degree, and not always in the same area of the body.
Misc: Daughter of a couple of wealthy Martians. All her life, she was able to play with new machinery soon after the hit the market. Sometimes, even when they didn't. She always had a knack for messing around with the devices; breaking them down, and putting them back together. Sometimes in a way that exceeded the abilities it originally had. If the machine was 'injured', she could usually fix it, if she had the parts to do so. Later on, she found out that she could do pretty much the same thing with living beings, though, at a cost. She soon figured out that there were things beyond her power to handle as well. She almost died trying to cure a dead person.
Gear: Forgot about this. Not really looking to come up with anything right now, so I'll get to it later.

You don't have to have gear if you want. Wow 3' 92 lbs? Most Martians even would have to look down to see her. She wouldn't even come up to a Andromedians Knee. That could be interesting. Welcome aboard.

Martica - Not really a major role in the game. Basically just a plot filler to make things like getting supplies easier. Can change your room/furniture/etc around to taste. Add/remove furniture and such. It is an artifical intelligence, but a very basic one. Think a futuristic 'smart house'. Has built in site to site teleporters, so if in a hurry you can just say "Teleport me to." or something and get there quick (if you don't have other means of doing so). Only inside the base however.
Depending on character interaction with Martica, it is possible for 'her' to become more a part of the game. Let you all figure that one out. Like I said 'she' is very very basic. There are even much more advanced AI's out there. Though she can morph her insides in many ways . Outside she can put on the 'appearance' of anything, but can not actually CHANGE anything. (Ie it is all smoke and mirrors).

Oh, I wasn't sure about those two values. I think I'll keep the height, but I think the weight needs to be upped a little bit. Maybe 35.

The height is fine, although a tad short it is not extrodinarily so. Even the weight, as these are not average examples of their race. I once played a 5'0 person who could give the Hulk a run for his money strength wise, so it is all good and totally up to you. If you really want the average for the race here it is.
Like the Dwarves in fantasy they are short and 'heavy'. They are much more dense then humans, and have more muscle mass.
An average female Martian is about 3'8, and weighs about 115-135 lbs due to the density of their bones and muscle mass. No unlike dwarves they do not have beards .
An average male Martian is about 4'5", and weighs between 185-200 lbs.
Again, that is average, and the characters do not have to be anywhere near average. They are mutantations, they can be andromedians that are 1" tall and weigh 1 lb. (Trivia fact most male andromedians weigh near 1000 lbs)

That's weird, I'd expect that from someone born on a star with higher gravity than on Earth.

Yeah, I realize that it doesn't make much sense. Good thing this is fiction . Consider it a way to compensate for Mars gravity. As the gravity is much less, they would need a way to be more 'ground bound' and thus be heavier..or some such (yeah .. don't get all logical on me and burst my bubble).
