Muslims kept science going during the dark ages. They also invented the university. Too bad many of them've now slipped into thier own dark ages. The world would be much better if everybody was eduated.

Due to this very thoughtfull argument, I asked doomforge (who brought it up too) a question which he didn't answer as of yet. Maybe you are able to give a response:
We both are in a dark room. We can't see anything.
I say: "Come on over here Elodin. There is a young naked lady sitting beside me".
How do you proove the young lady is NOT in that room?
*(Keep in mind, she is able to move. So if you come over here, she may just move some steps away.. )

Actually, your example shows that no one could prove God does not exist just because you can't detect him.
I could listen and see if I heard her breathe, her voice, her footsteps, or reach out and try to touch her. I could call out and see if she would answer.
But if I failed to detect her, it would not mean that she is not there, just as if you fail to detect God, it does not mean he is not there.
However, I can see evidence of God. The universe for example.
The same discussion seems to be going on in two different threads so perhaps you would like to continue it in the religion thread if you wish to discuss it furthur.
