homm3 high resolution project: current status
Great news: soon we will have homm3 in different resolutions.
This awesome work is being done by baratorch. I see rapid progress there, all programming took few days. Currently available for SOD, later for TE version.

Looks great!
When do you think, the work will be finished? Please implement 1440x900 resolution.
Still one suggestion: how about rearranging the icons on the right side of the screen? Hence avoiding the huge brown 'screen desert' beneath the icons? Or lifting higher the heroes windows?

pre-alpha version is available HERE
MAKE FULL COPY OF THE GAME for back-up!
Installation instructions: I will check with developers, most likely
it's set over WOG, but maybe over TE as well.
Put "ResMod Graphics.wog" into \Update folder, run h3wUpd.exe and run "Heroes3HD.exe".
I will check myself and will post detailed instructions later

I tried more than 10 times within one hour and all the time it says:
All free download slots are busy for your country. You can download file by sending SMS to the short phone number.
Which is strange, since the file is only 10 mb and should be downloaded fast.
Can you please upload it on some faster international site - like http://rapidshare.com/ for example.

This time it works. Unfortunately its not working over TE (tested).
