Can't talk about all towns, cos don't have practice results with all towns. Against orcs Sylvan, Haven can go without any magic and win. At least on 2m light magic is not a must... I think dwarfs can go only with runes, or pick other magic if light not offered.

Today is 18 th of January and nobody hasn't even started their games !
New deadline is 22 January
Clayman said that he may concede so if he doesn't show up till friday he is out.
The other 2 pairs - Janmar-Elias and Buxyrs-Bala car
If they are not started by friday and finished by sunday the player with more ranking points moves ahead.

I decided to quit heroes, maybe a duel once in a while.
That means Bala car can move on to the next round.

Group phase is over. Jinxer`s laptop died so I there will be no upload of tournament tables soon. But I will write the quarter-finalist pairs here:

You have to play untill 2 wins ( or you may call it 2 out of 3)

Thank you, Natalka. I was finding hard to capture second town in first week without losing almost all my army at heroic level!
I have one question on third achievement listed in the first post: in this tournament did anyone success in capturing a human controlled garrison at day 24?
However, I played this map for a while in single player and now I would like to play it against a human player; does someone want to play with me? Maybe someone who was been eliminated...

Natalka is always waiting at the gate on Day 24... HOWEVER... this is only accomplished realistically if they use Warpath... As the map maker, I would strongly suggest that WarPath not be used to increase the playability of the map.. The map has lots of close neutrals and using warpath really ruins the spirit and strategy of how the map was designed. And also ruins the timeline built into the map.
Now if Natalka can get to and break gate day 24 without Warpath then I would TRUELY be inpressed.

I had games where I got warpath at level 7 dwelling and still lost half turn to wait for gate to open. Jinxer, contact me in msn please

But at level 7 dwelling that is end of week 2.. so that is still a full week with warpath.. Dont take warpath at all!!!
Without warpath I am ready to break every game Week 5 Day 1 that is 4-5 turns later. If I took warpath I could shave a couple days off atleast. Warpath is for wussies

hi jinxer...when u think ull be avaible?.. havent seen u in a while...looks like everyone is busy these days...lol, and bux and fiur are missing ... me as well sometimes ... lost the apettite a bit after all ... Still Ill play Lord as I promissed in the tourney (and all my saves)...even if is the hardest game in the series ... with Lord you never know and hes in good shape I think as he keeps asking me to play ... cu around guyz!

starting the game against natalka,
me telsek (telsek) blue place 2
she karli (ingvar) red place 1
on day 6th she captured the second town and had l,2,3,5,6 dwelling
i have 1,2,3,6 maybe on day 7 town and lvl 5, i dont know, the way is long, i dont think to reach the town but lvl5 is possible. i am lvl 15 or 16 on day 6.

Well couple things.... my laptop died and just got it back recently and have been trying to get all the stuff reloaded back on it.. I have been around, just been listed as offline since didnt want people asking me for games until I could be back full time. If you recall I was asking you to finish our game couple weeks ago, but at that time, you was a bit burnt out and needing a break
I will message you once I am back up and going full strength with my computers etc. I still have save with Vex to finish also.. but seems between computer problems and TIMEZONE conflicts its been a bit hard to manage lately. But eventually will get to it.

We played a bit more with janmar so far I am ahead a few turns though I got warpath very late. It seems getting warpath is not the only prerequisite of being fast , Jinxer

First game in quarterfinals appears to be very interesting as me and janmar will arrive at the gates at exactly the same time. Moreover I think he has very good arties though I had week of defenders and spears in week 3 giving me lots of little ones
