Sometimes I wonder whether NASA does science or preaching. They have quite a sheep flock following them.

It (NASA) acknowledge some of the pics were made with near-infrared filters but displayed as red (infrared is invisible to human eye), while labelling them (wrongly) "true color". Look at the differences in two same pics on NASA's website (the articles I linked have references, not that anyone ever bothered to click on them).

I think it'd be cool if Angelito also would greet some of the newcomers in the newcomer forum, that'd make her look cooler.

Grammer mistake, it should be she?

Or gender mistake, it should be him?

Or both and it should be he?

Anyway, I just make assumptions that names beginning with A, E or I typical are girls while beginning with D, K and P usually are guys.

Since I remember it was the sufix what matters, unless you happen to not know any european surname?
'Angelito' sounds italianic.

Oh that's right, boys names usually end with a consonant and girls usually with a vocal.

Anyway, I'm still safe in my assumptions, almost.

The moon landing was fake? How come no one thought of that before?

But siriusly, why would NASA do this then?

Because if it looked like Earth deserts (aka not "red"), people would say it was photographed on Earth.

It doesn't justify it either, because a lot information seems to also get removed (lower quality of the picture), which is holding back information.

I still think it's not true, but that's based on NASA being an authority and nothing else right now.

On a previous link someone took an amateur photo of Mars (well today's amateur technology = 30 years ago's professional technology) and it looked like a desert not like "the red planet".

Whatever anyone said about science being open to everyone for experimenting and not relying on someone's word?

That's in my opinion pure win.

I've for a long time also wanted to try to maybe do some ameteur astronomy, and a lot of my friends are interested, but when you don't do it, taking a stance in any matter, where you've no information, does not make much meaning.

Or I think I could shorten it into, if you don't have any information about it, or any validity of the information you've, making conclusions is meaningless, I suppose.
