Breakfast of various origions

I think of the countries I have been in, and the traditional authentic foods I have had like, Mexican, italian, Japanese. These are all very great foods.

Stir fried rice,
tacos
spaggettios
the list goes on but I dont know whats for breakfast!

What are the breakfasts common in other regions than the US?
We have the cold and hot cereals, bacons, eggs, actually a very long list of stuff

Well in Romania for kids is usually a croissant with milk or tea, or nutella on bread, for grownups more like fried eggs with bacon or scrambled eggs, sometimes cremwursts with mustard.
I usually don't have breakfast and have a sandwich around 11 o'clock.

In general traditional meals are made for lunch or dinner and not breakfast.

depends on who you are.
if you're a student, like myself, you'll be happy with a bowl of cereal and a glass of water.
if you're comsopolitan, croissant, fresh fruit, possibly some mussilli, you know, all the stuff the hippies, even though do don't see yourself as one.
If you're suffering from a hangover, raw eggs, mixed with tabassco saunce.
if you're sensible enough to wake up early and make yourself a fry up, a traditional fry up with bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatos, mushrooms, and whatever else you've brought.
if you're a cannibal...

I generally skip breakfast because I'm irresponsible when it comes to my physical well-being.

I skip it too.

During schooldays, I have to leave very early and I barely eat a sandwich. During weekends, I wake up very late, and I usually just eat a sandwich.

I do have very consistent dinners, tough.

You eat tacos for breakfast? Tacos is a very popular dish here and it's my favorite. But we usually eat it during fridays and during the weekend. I think we will eat when we watch Melodifestivalen tomorrow (it's the contest before Eurovision Song Contest).

Anyway. I am usually in such a hurry in the morning that I only eat two slices of bread with tube caviar and butter and made cheese and a glass of juice. I used to drink a lot of chocolate when I was younger (OBOY) but it's not very healthy...

Sometimes I eat yoghurt or sour milk with müsli even though some müsli tastes like bird food. xD

During the weekends I usually don't eat breakfast but last week I made delicious scrambled eggs with barbecue spice and vegtebles. Me and my little sister loved it.

Oh and like Joonas wrote, porridge is also delicious but with milk, sugar and cinnamon. Also sometimes I have verduras frutas in the yoghurt/milk/sour milk (why is it called sour milk in english, it's more similar to thin yoghurt...).

I think the swedish breakfast is very bad. We don't really eat sausage and bacon, that's for lunch or dinner even though it is probably healthier to treat breakfast as a lunch meal.

Also I misread. I thought you wrote that mexicans ate tacos for breakfast. xD
Hot cereal seems a bit ackward.

I eat two sandwiches and a glass of milk.

Been doing that for 18 years.

Sometimes I get wild and eat a banana too.

Yes. The factory-made porridge with lots of chemical additions is very tasty with lots of "Old Grandmas Sugar - Now with only 10 E-substances and 10% less aspartam!".

A sandwich, a cup of tea and a chill pill. Everything you need to start off the day.

You mean you literally eat the same thing every morning? I admire that amazing loyalty to a schedule, even if I wouldn't want to imitate it.

Yes, I actually do. Lunch and dinner is different but breakfast follows a strict schedule.

Like Joonas and Xerox I've eaten porridge for periods too, but mostly it's just zeh sandwiches and milk.

That is really quite the feat.
My breakfast tends to depend what I can catch every mornign so it differs quite much.

Umm... at least I don't eat the same bread. Sometimes it's northern swedish bread, sometimes it's greek bread... or italian

I don't control my body when I wake up, I just do my routine and don't think.

I actually had porridge this morning *beams with pride* Tastes good man.

Of course, before you classify me as a healthy eater, you would have to view the blasphemous amount of sugar that went into it.

I wish I could build myself into certain routines like that (though breakfast is probably my favorite meal, so I definitely wouldn't want to eat the same thing).
