Equilibris
I tried to install the Equilibris for Heroes 4 today, but while installing, the Setup told that I had to install a patch or something from another website (something with zone.ee). The problem is that the website is in russian(?) I think and it doesn't look like it works as it should?
I tried to download it from Gamespot.

And I have tried to download some patches too, and I was told the files were all too old

Did you try downloading it from here? It worked fine for me with no patches: http://equilibris.celestialheavens.com/eng/downloads.html
Select the "HC" button to the right of what shows below on the site and it should give you a direct download.
MODS
install_equilibris_v3.51.exe - The last version of the mod (from October 12, 2004). English,Russian&French versions. 3 946 766
It's 3.51. I've been playing it a lot lately with no problems other than one corrupted saved game. Good luck.

It said my "checksum" (whatever that is I don't know) ain't correct and that I was to download a file from StragegyPlanet - but, of courc, my luck, the page doesn't work...

I'll see if I can upload the .rar file to a hosting community where you can download it for free. Have you used rapidshare.com? I could easily purchase a one month subscription, upload the .rar file and you could download it for free once I post the link. (The fee to subscribe is minimal and I often subscribe for a month at a time so the cost isn't a problem for me.) I also have a .rar file of over 100 maps that I could upload too. Just let me know if this sounds like a good idea to you. I don't know how familiar you are with .rar files, but you can download 7Zip for free to unpack them; it's a great program and doesn't contain any malware.

I barely know what you are talking about 
Sadly, I haven't really got any money at the moment (living at my parents and no job) and I am quiet sure they won't donate anything for an update to a computer game
I am not sure what you mean - do I have to subscribe on rapidshare to get the file?
I do hope that I'll soon get a job and then it is absolute in my interest, both the .rar (?) and especially the 100 maps! 
And what is a 7Zip?
Oh God, I feel stupid, haha. But thanks for the help! Hopefully I can get it in a month or two (cross my fingers!).
If you upload it, will it still be accesable then?

It'll only cost me a few dollars. You won't have to pay anything to download the .rar file for Equilibris from rapidshare.com. It's a free service - you just have to wait 60 seconds for the download to start (if you're not a premium user). Then just wait about an hour to download the maps. I'll upload them both and walk you through the process if you're really interested in playing Equilibris.
You can Google search for 7Zip. All you need to do is save it, run it and you're done; it'll show up as an option when you right-click your mouse over the .rar file (a .rar file is a compressed file like a .zip file).
Do you have the original game and both expansions installed? You'll need them to install Equilibris 3.51.
What I'm explaining is easier than it sounds. Just keep in touch here and we'll make a go of it. Once I've uploaded the files I can give you the exact address to type in to download them (Equilibris and the maps). Also let me know if you need the web address for 7Zip.

Note on previous post: Actually the Equilibris file is an install file (it's really small; I just downloaded it again to be sure) so you won't even need 7zip to unpack the file. Once you download it you can just double-click and it'll install itself like any other program.
