I need to cut it in half to get it to fit to CDs and I'd like to cut it so that it would not be cut at a horribly bad time.
So would you know some good place for it around the middle?

If Depositfiles sucks so badly, I will need to find another host. Unfortunatelly 4shared doesn't seem to work for big files. If 2shared hosting permanent, or has some hidden limits?
