Asylum Town

For some time on the polish website is prepared with a new city: Asylum.
It is a city of pirates, bandits, creatures of the sea. Statistics, the growth or the price is quite similar to the Dungeon.
Asylum replaces heaven

I like some of the creatures like sea monsters and such, but the "Mantikora" should be changed since the colours look weird . Overall good


Żebyś się już nie musiał trudzić z translatorem napiszę ci też po polsku :
Lubię część z tych istot np tego morskiego potwora, chociaż mantykora powinna zostać zmieniona z racji, że jej kolory wyglądają dosyć dziwnie (nienaturalnie). Ale ogólnie jest OK

Tutaj jest ogłoszenie skierowane głównie do Polaków bądź osób znających chociaż częściowo j. polski.
Planowane jest zrobienie kampanii o piratach, jednakże nie ma zbyt wielu MapMakerów. Nie ma co się bawić w rozmowy translatorem, dlatego chętni do robienia map powinni znać choćby częściowo j. polski by dogadać się z osobami biorącymi udział w tworzenia Azylu. Przy opisie map mogą poprawić inni pracujący nad projektem (Głównie ja, gdyż zajmuje się tu opisami jednostek, ich artrybutami [Które również zamieszcze], specjalizacjami bohaterów itp). Na stronie gdzie przedstawiono moda bowiem chociaż zgłosiło się dwóch MapMakerów, to ich zapał był raczej nikły. Jeśli takowe osoby się znajdą i po zrobieniu Azylu będą mogli dorobić kampanię, to dodam, iż bohaterami biorącymi udział będą najprawdopodobniej Erwin oraz Kyrke, prawdopodobnie powstanie też bohater-smok (Tak jak w Heroesie III była Mutare). Kyrke oraz Erwina wtedy zastąpiliby inni bohaterowie.
Wszelkie osoby chętne prosiłbym o napisanie tego do mnie na gg: 13879669 lub na e-mail don_misiek@poczta.fm. W ostateczności można napisać w tym temacie.

Ja mógłbym popracować nad mapkami i kampanią, ale najpierw muszę dostać cały mod ze wszystkimi kreaturami, herosami i z miastem. Ale coś mi się wydaje, że sylan poniechał tworzenia modu, jeśli masz z nim kontakt to dowiedz się co i jak, najwyżej przejmij kierownictwo nad pracami nad modem, po uprzednim zrzeknięciu się sylana, komunikować możemy się nie tylko przez hereoes community ale też przez wątek "Tawerniany Projekt" na tawernie lub drogą e-mailową, podejmij decyzje a ja w razie czego wyślę ci w PW na Tawernie swój e-mail.

As far as I can see it's not a creature related to water in any way. If you know the bible, the Leviathan is supposed to be some sort of evil sea creature.

Eater isn't a good name still, but there are better variants-

Engulfer

Actually, as for names, I there are plenty of better choices for many units but more about that later when the actual faction units have been decided or whatnot.

And please, write it english. Every time I see a single word here not in english I punch a puppy in the balls.

Well, te not upgradet version is called "Sea-Monster" and the alternative upgrade is named after the greek sea monster Ketos, left alone that this is said to be a "pirate" town, so it will probably still be related to water.

based on the screenshots, that looks good. I will try to look in game.

I saw the creature stats, they seem powerful, especially in low levels, are you sure the very high initiative is well compensated?

no melee penalty is only useful on shooters.
immune to curse is useless on an unit with fixed damage I think.

that's just me, but I think the level 7 unit doesn't have very exciting abilities (not that it needs to have any, it's just my preference)

actually, level 1 and 2 units look strong for their tier. level 3 look weak. don't know if it was a way to compensate? other creatures are fine I suppose.

I don't speak polish, so you should post the suggestions on that other forum :

level 1 : growth 8 or 9. they seem about as strong as assassins / stalker, except they have no poison.

level 2 : unlimited retaliations and frenzy doesn't seem very useful on a fast and weak creature. I suppose the abilities should be inverted.

level 3 : growth 7 or 8 (ok, they have more HPs than hunters, but hunters shoot twice) initiative 8 or 9 for the 2nd upgrade. no range penalty should be compensated, but minus 4 initiative point is huge.

level 4 : they don't shoot, no melee penalty is useless
level 4a and 4b don't have the same growth

level 5 : berserker rage is quite a surprising idea considering they don't have much defense. you could consider giving venom to one of them.

level 6 : they don't fly?

level 7 : immune to curse is useless for the 1st upgrade. you could consider lizard bite, but will have to make them weaker in that case.

from what I read on the other site, you aren't comfortable with english.

level 3 : growth is too low also. they seem less good than marksmen and crossbowmen.

level 5 : poison and venom are different. venom is like poison, but deal more damage.
the statistics might be a bit high. I'm not sure.

level 7 : curse is useless only for the 1st upgrade.

statistics are fine, but with better abilities, it could be too strong.
