Overkill? Why would it be overkill. Maybe it's just me but as I see it we're just slightly better than normal humans(except for Carrie and S.P.E.C.I.A.L. once they start using their powers) and should not really be able to stand-up to normal ones as soon as they come in groups. Let alone a whole army of them.

Well. Those who come in are in Kane's own territory. Not to mention he's lightyears ahead of them in skill.
Vlad is a pure soldier. He'll slaughter them.
In this dark S.P.E.C.I.A.L. can kill a group of five faster than they can react if she can sneak on them. Using the roof structure it's pretty easy.
And Xion can just blast them with a bazooka or something.

Joonas kinda summed it up. Tactical genious+martial art expert and excellent shooter (though not above human ability when it comes to guns), supersoldier, dragonlady and some guy with nanobots and seemingly a neat bloodlust. Nice combination!

Hehe, or just, you know: Sneak in ---> Butcher them with melee weapons(I do mean to remember saying he is capable of using almost any sort of weapons) ---> Find others to butch.

Wow, that was the first time I had someone sumarise one of my posts. Was it realy that long? I agree that I might have indented a few more times. But with all the lines of dialog, it would have seemed even longer I think. Don't like all the empty space in such posts either.
Wonder what I'm gonna have Rex do next.

Seriously, WO, spaces are your friend (especially your friend, because, hell, you have longs posts), they give the eyes time to rest and give your brain the room to structurise and order all the sentences.

Berny, something I should have told you ... Thermite can't be put out, it's the beauty of it! Once it starts, it doesn't stop.
That means the poor snow is pretty much legless, at least  so he couldn't have been able to jump so far

Unless Leon was able to break out of the nylon ropes, vlads special stuff and then jump up before the igniter hit bottom of the well it would ignite if it's already lit the water has no effect. Well yes, probably it would create some kind of explosion because of the temperature-difference  Hey, thermite wasn't my idea! It was Kipz' .. I just happen to know alot about it cause chemistry (explosives and pyro-stuff) is one of the things I know best about.

Not so strange, really ... it's not normal to know about alot of materials I learned alot about thermite from Mythbusters! And found it fascinating, how it could eat through a car.
Anyways, the main point is to go with the flow and change the story but still try to end up at your planned grand finale ... sometimes it doesn't go the way you planned

Well that's more accurate ... I bet Zero is gonna revive the sod.
Just curious, when will we be able to act when it's dark? would be fun to see how Special could do as a dragon.

I ahven't been following a lot, but you know that it takes something pretty hot to set off thermite, right? Like, even a blowtorch won't cut it, you need magnesium to ignite it. (well, I assume you guys did. I can't find references to the thermite in the IC, but then again, I don't want to shovel through all those boring posts again)

Neither Joonas nor Kipz are online, and not BETA either ... controlling my character alone wouldn't help much. Maybe next time! Besides, I doubt it would do much good stumbling around near a 10 meter deep pit with a broken leg
