Appearance: Messy brown hair, brown beard, rag-tag clothing mostly made from hemp, a leather "coat" with fur (more like a single piece with holes for arms and hands.), leather moccasins
Possessions: A bag, a rusty old sword, his clothes.

Profession: Wizard
Appearance: This bearded man has an absent minded look on his brown eyes. On a bad hair day his head resembles more a big ball of hair. Wizard hat sticks out in the crowd.
Background: Marcel comes from a city at one side of the forest we speak of where he works as a wizard, giving people a helping magic hand. He is on his way to the other side of the forest where he needs to stop by on his tour of meeting his relatives.
Skills: Can concoct potions and mix up magic powders and alike, while having a good bit of book knowledge. Not a very impressive wizard in terms of firepower, but that's not saying that he can't set someone's hair ablaze.
Possesions: Wizard staff, wizard hat, wizard robe, wizard book, magic salves, magic powders, food and bottomless bag.

Appearance: Because of his proffesion, Aagarun strive to meld in with his surroundings, wether it means using raged peasant clothings or camoflauge in forest. However, because of the fact that he is colorblind, Aagarun can always make the mistake and instead where colorful cloths that makes him stand out like a flame in the rosebushes. As of now in the village, Aagarun is wearing brown woolen peasant clothing...except for the shoes which are bright purple.
Background: When he was a boy, Aagargun lived with his nomadic parents. At early stage of life he learnt how to hunt and survive in the wilderness, however around age of 13, his whole family were slaugthered by some great wild monster which Aagargun did not know. Desperate and afraid, the lizardboy found his way to a city where he took refuge. However life there was not a easy task either, as he was forced to learn a whole new way of life on the streets of this city. Because of his abilities as a hunter, he was found and adopted by a 'master assasin' who took the lizardboy in and started teaching him about the ways of the shadows. Today, Aagarun is a skilled and somewhat infamous murderer-for-hire who prefers to kill his targets in broad daylight("Whoops, did I just bum into you?"). His current employer wanted him to go and kill some noble elven woman who was traveling with a carevan to some place. Her travels should make her pass a certain peasant village.
Skills: Archery, sneaking, hunting, skilled with knifes and blade weapons and posion-making. He is also colorblind
Possesions: A lot of knifes, two changes of cloths(peasant and forest), bow and arrows, crossbows and bolts, bottles(both empty and filled with posions) and herbs(just for the heck of it).
Is this acceptable?

It occurred to me that it might not be a bad idea to write short synopsises after longer posts so that if someone's away for a while or something they can read through those and get a quicker overview of what was going on in the meantime.

Ooh, boy, I have been neglectful, have I not?
Anyway, time for me to DM something. WO, change your post. Change how you related with bak's char. In fact, delete all of the actions you gave bak's char, unless he explicitly permitted you to make his character do that. Once you've sorted out your little interaction (for instance, I'm assuming you'll still throw him away) stop short before the fight. Irina would have stopped the fighting before it even started. Also, think realistically: if an orc would start a fight in a primaily human-dominated town, the orc would most likely be lynched, especially if a human got hurt.
And you actually shouldn't be controlling NPC's (not that we're gonna have a problem with that, once we actually left the village)
I'm sorry for any inconvenience. I wasn't clear on the rules and that is my fault. Consider controlling any character that isn't you a violation of the rules. I'm going to let diablo slide for now...

Do realise that the nightstalker is like a gigantic, neon-lit middle finger to all participants.
And I am aware I should post more and be a more active participant in the RP I started myself. ATM, I'll wait, until OW edits his post...
Actually, OW, just delete your post. Before you may cause any unnecessary conflicts, I may need to interact with the already-present players.

Baklava did in fact give me permission to catch, threaten and throw him across the room.
As for the fight, I'll stop it short. But if an Orc does not get to fight for a long time, they can get careless and start to pick figths regardless on consequences. Also a veteran berserk Orc can take on a large number of untrained peasants any day of the week.

Background: Half man, half concrete building, Grond has always been a very big and very tough kid, who never had the need to think a lot, because his strength was great to always be inefficient. There was little he couldn't take by force, so he always relied on it. He was drafted by the army from his peasant family and employed to fight for some duke whose name he never could remember. After the duke's army disbanded over some conflict he couldn't quite remember he joined a mercenary corps. For some strange reason, William wanted to hire him to escort himt o this village, even though william was perfectly capable of taking care of himself. Grond didn't really seem to care and followed him.
Skills: Fighting, horseback riding, setting camp perimeters
Possesions: Warhammer, his great set of steel armour

Age: 37

Profession: Big game hunter
Appearance: this, but cut his hair and take away his heavy weapons.
background: William is a great hunter, arguably one of the greaest hunters. He hunts for trophies and sport and now seeks the greatest challenge: the fabled nightstalker. He has heard much about it and has been looking for it the past year. His contacts amongst the Academy had given him a hint that near this village there was a lot of activity from outer sources, which might mean a Nightstalker. He went immediately and ended up there a few days before Irina arrived. he went to explore and found heavy tracks from both man, horse and something else from where she came fro. There was no sign of the nightstalker and once he figured how heavy the beast was, judging from the tracks, he was happy he didn't.
Skills: Tracking, trapping, archery, fencing, has knowledge of herbs found in the wild, hand-to-hand, setting up camps, knowledge of animals in general and geographical knowledge of the surrounding regions, fletching, cooking.
Possesions: Fur and leather armor which is light, yet tough. Crossbow, twenty crossbow bolts, his "steel cleaver" lowest one, hunting knife, food rations and a hunting bow.

Okay, fine, I edited it. (I could've sworn I've seen references to swords that usually only serve a purpose for hacking as "cleavers") It'll be called a hacking sword and he'll call it his "cleaver".
Also, about having nothing broken.
