I picked up a game on Steam called Age of Decadence.

A decent game. Also look at Pillars of Eternity.

I have had Pillars since day one.  I greatly enjoyed it despite some painful difficulty spikes at times.  I still need to get to the White March content.

Age of Decadence has highly positive reviews everywhere but many people say it's quite short (without specifying what "short" means though). I'm not a big fan of short RPGs, especially if they're well-made. Care to share how long does it take to complete it when you actually do so?

Will do.  I am working through the Icewind Dale expansion and fire up the Baldur's Gate series after.  After that, Dark Souls III comes out so it may be a bit before I get to it.

Paragon. Another Moba this time made by epic games. It's on the ps4 too which is why I'm trying it. Pretty fun so far.

Breath of Fire III on PSP,  good old-school jrpg.

Just completed Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls remakes for PS4. I bougth the duo-pack together with my five friends to share the cost and we're playing them one after another. Some of us completed them already but wanted to play them again to try different paths, whereas it was first time for me.

Heavy Rain - cool and intense (keeps you on your toes), some really nice ideas and great expierience altogether, but it had some downsides: for one even if who the murderer is makes sense when you think about it, imo it was to far-fetched and coupled with a few plot holes here and there. Besides controls were a bit clunky (and this is irritating in a game where a small mistake might kill off a character and thus his whole plot line). And they really didn't enchance the game for the new generation so it looked really archaic...

Beyond - I liked it more then HR (maybe it's because I don't quite like the crime drama genre which HR represents). You're more of a passive player in this game, but the story got to me. Jodie was played by Ellen Page really good and her story was immersive. The games downside was that I picked the original chapter order (which is not in chronological order if you wanna know) because I thought it made more sense (playing as developers intended), but I think the game should be played chronologically afterall.

All in all it's hard to say if the duo-pack is worth it. Of course the game are definately great, one-of-a-kind expieriences, but the remakes are not really remakes and the price tag is steep. If you have an opportunity to buy the games while sharing costs like I had go for it. It's story driven gaming at it's best...

I like that they make remakes of old classics but when they translate it to have new 3D enviroment, it pretty much kills the original appeal of the game. Other is, do we really need a new one, what are the purposes other than sells? Final Fantasy IV on Snes, Ps, Gba, Psp and DS what bunch of mugging is that! Or Ubi's Heroes 3 RESTARATION OF ERATHIA but no expansions bull...

Currently playing: The Legend of Heroes - Trails in the Sky PSP game. Liked it, classic rpg, randomness, too easy but fun game.

Right now I'm playing Ori and Blind Forest, which so far is a masterpiece of a platformer. Brings me back to the days of Super Metroid.

Slogging through Baldur's Gate again.  Didn't realize that Durgal's Tower was part of the Sword Coast expansion.  I was wondering why it was so freaking hard.  >_<

I noticed both BGs were on sale at GoG this weekend. Tempted to pick them up, but just don't know if I will ever have 200 hours available to sink into it.

(Still, at only $13.00, that's a pretty good dollar-per-hour of entertainment value...)

Oblivion, and I enjoy it more than Skyrim. Harder to level up, then archery movement related are much slower thus battles are less predictable. And hopefully enough mods to fix the horrendous interface and lack of hotkeys.

I fancy getting oblivion, I've played through most of skyrim but never played oblivion. Alot of people seem to prefer it over skyrim so I am intrigued.

It's so tempting to cheese Baldur's Gate by exporting my character after finding the stat tomes and rampaging through the game at a higher level.

With the 600$ on the VR kit you'd be better off paying hookers if that's the goal. Though nowadays you should be able to score for some couple of drinks if not entirely for free.

I have very little interest in VR.  Ever since getting into board gaming, my interest in video gaming has declined substantially.  I still game every day but I would much rather sit around a table and play a board game with my buddies than sit in front of a screen.
