Bout time they showed that Age of Empires IV...

So I'm playing the new FH4 DLC - Lego Speed Champions. The idea is pretty interesting in it's own right, but I can somewhat relate to the fans outrage: although they already did it with Hotwheels DLC in FH3, this is not what was expected. I also would rather see another part of Britain depicted in the game. And technically we don't even get new cars, only Lego versions of some of those already available...

EDIT: Lego DLC fails to interest me. Fortune Island was a better idea.

Went back to Northgard, there is a sale on all the clan DLC so I bought them. They brought quite a few changes since last time I played it: new map type and new neutrals, Military tech tree, and redesigned Forge system with Relics (all free updates, only new clans are paid content). Game is still one of the most interesting RTS in recent memory...

I've started playing the FTP monster hunter game Dauntless. It is actually really fun. Some of the weapons include dual pistols, or chain blades.

So if you want to go all akimbo you can. Or if you want to live out your fantasy of being Kratos while hunting giant elemental charged monsters you can.

After my friends instigation I've also picked up Vermitide 2 (66% off on Steam atm). Pure, mindless, bloody co-op fun

EDIT: Aside from Vermintide 2, I've picked a lot of stuff recently, partly because my friends suggested it:
- Sea of Thieves -> part of a Gamepass promotion, 1$ for a month subscription, me and my nakama are goofing around/facing the seas while playing accordions and being shot out of cannons
- Hellblade -> also part of the Gamepass, I played it a bit just to get the feel of it for now. It definately is climatic (the echoing psychotic voices create a splendid effect), but I don't know if I'll finish it
- Into the Breach -> as a TBS fan, this game was on my radar for a long time. 50% off on Steam, and no wonder this super streamlined, but deep game was the talk of the town. Great appetizer before AoW Planetfall
- Thronebreaker -> part of the Steam sale, it has Gwent, it has Witcher storytelling and is a game from CD Projekt Red. What else can you want?

I'm officially now a whale.
I kind of got addicted to Honkai Impact 3rd, and my credit card isn't happy, but you know, I'm willing to shell out cash to get a costume for my favourite maid, or you know, to unlock the idol twins.

Did I mention I basically can't decide which valkyrie is my waifu? It's Rita of course.

(Ok, I'm not actually that much of a whale, I may have spent like 30€ on it, but it's still less than your average anime game player, it's a bit much I know, but for the first time I feel that a mobile developer deserved that cash)

OK, so Into the Breach is one of the best TBS games I've played in my entire life. Anybody who is even remotely interested in this genre should try it.

For those who don't know. It's a post-apocalyptic sci-fi game where you control three mechs against waves of insectoid monsters. Your squad and enemies take turns and most of the time you need to survive a couple of turns until they withdraw. Your objective is to save islands which are humanity last bastions. If you don't succeed you "go back in time to an alternative timeline to try again". That's all for the plot. There are a couple of unique mechs teams (you need to unlock them first) that each play differently. Aside from that everything is randomized: pilots that you can use, loadouts you can customize (you can buy new stuff after each "chapter"). Almost everything from maps to objectives is randomized, you only pick the order of one of 4 types of islands/biomes with unique conditions and after that there's a final mission to which you can even advance after clearing only two islands. If you loose, you can take one of your remaining pilots to another run (they carryover XP and sometimes have really strong skills).

The game is unforgiving. Just when you think you're in a good place you can literally loose your whole run in a blink of an eye (rougelike elements). No second chances. Even a slightest mistake could prove fatal. True, the game has a repeat a turn option, and you can undo movement before you attack, but it's all limited: you can use only one turn redo per map (though there are pilots which can give you additional chances). But it also works the other way around. It plays like a puzzle, so when you think everything is hopeless one tactical movement can turn the tide of battle.

It's deep, easy to understand and quick to play. The idea itself is brilliant and the game has a lot of replay value. It simulates 16-bit graphics so it's clean and charming. Personally it reminds me of Micro Machines and Advance Wars which adds a nostalgia factor.

along with Xenoverse 2, which is loads of fun, I got back into Starbound, which is basically Teraria with spaceships. They added "bounties", so you can live out your Boba Fett fantasy, and gives more incentive to explore the planets. pretty fun although may get repetitive.

Rise and Fall expansion, deity, huge map, fractal, epic speed.

Interesting facts: 418 total turns. Game ended before formally entering the Information Era, which is bonkers. Over 2100 tourism and 900 culture, leading by a landslide. Repeated Future Civic around 4 times. Was 3 turns away from being the first in the world to complete the Manhattan Project. Capital of Kyoto with over 230 production, potential to go over 250. One Dark Age, one Heroic age, and all the rest Golden Ages. Had 5 National Parks with possibility to build many more. Leading on wonders built. 10 policies Democracy. 3 consistent allies out of 7 other AI. 15 trade routes. Average army. Biggest empire, most cities and districts built, top gold earner. Other AI win conditions: Zulu closest to achieving a scientific victory, was missing 4 prerequisites more in the last stage before Mars launch; Catherine de Medici leading on religion with 3 civs converted out of 8; Tie on conquest for Alexander and Zulu with 1 capital conquered each; Peter closest after me to a cultural victory with ~300 tourism and ~400 culture or so.

What I noticed, the game became a cake walk after diplomatically/militarily subduing the most threatening empires, Zulu and Alexander as allies and Russia as the main enemy. Zulu especially was really dangerous, having direct borders and them recruiting corps/armies like no tomorrow. Alexander focused on air force while Peter was mass producing Cossacks and was losing to Zulu's superior infantry. Territorial features played a huge role in staving off invaders, good thing for mountains and lakes mostly.

It was an absolute blast. Will proceed to buy Gathering Storm expansion without a doubt. Dams, canals, natural disasters, diplomacy win, more civs, all of them sound amazing. Will probably try a different civilization and a something else than a cultural victory.

I don't play computer games for a long time .For me it became not interesting .Recently, I have started to  prefer to spend time with friends playing board games or go through different quests . It has become our hobby and we gather once a month and go to the most interesting and exciting room quests in our city Escape Room Berlin . Our most favourite escape room . We have a very friendly team and we have no difficulty to pass the most difficult quests and solve all their puzzles . I advise everyone to try to go and get this unforgettable experience.
